On the owner's website and also on letsgoselfcatering.com it mentions that the electric meter is read on arrival and on leaving. This is ok, but you should have stated that heating is by storage heaters which are notoriously expensive to use. Luckily we were aware of that but the tenants before our stay that were there for one week it cost them 132 euros (£105 sterling)! That is outrageous. So please could your website and the owner's state in the cottage description that heating is via storage heaters. Thank you.

PS: Where we have clicked on Poor for the Comfort question is regarding the two single beds. Quilts are too heavy.

Dear Mr. Nichols Thank you for your recent stay at the Cottage and for taking the time to let us have your review. We are very pleased you found the location of the cottage to be excellent and cleanliness and condition good. We note your comment regarding the Electricity Charge of a previous guest and would like to make the following point: During the winter/spring months when the weather is very cold and we have a number of regular guests that come every year for outdoor pursuits including hunting and shooting. When they are out all day, they choose to leave the heating on day and night during the week and use the boosters for showers. These are usually parties of 6 persons. The local caretaker would always advise clients the best way to use the heating and we are glad that your own electricity account worked out at €22 per week. Regarding the Duvets, which were newly purchased at a mid-tog rating this spring we note your comment about them being heavy during your stay and will certainly remind our Caretaker to offer the option of using the lighter but cosy blankets when the weather is very warm. Again thank you for your visit to the cottage and your feedback which we take seriously and is valuable to us in helping to improve our visitor experience. With best regards and we hope to welcome you back at some future date. With kind regards Management
