The Colloquy is an exclusive-use venue located at the heart of the Whittern Estate. It is a stunning conversion of the Estate's Victorian stable-yard, which now enjoys modern luxury and excellent leisure facilities. Designed with imagination and flair, these historic Victorian stable buildings use space to its best advantage, creating a very special environment for business or pleasure.
What a fantastic place, we had 4 of the houses for my 60th, the Forge was a special oasis for me and my wife to escape to.
Everything was perfect, and Mel made sure we had everything we needed.
We had an amazing time at the colloquy. The weather was so awful that weekend, so having the space for us all to sit and relax, and for the children to run around was ideal. We hope to book again next year. Thank you
We are already looking at our 2026 diaries to return to this beautifully situated and comfortable cottage . A lovely discovery set in a beautiful Herefordshire estate but very private with glorious views overlooking vineyards and orchards teeming with wildlife. We were welcomed by Mel , the property’s manager who answered our queries promptly and looked after us very well . We loved the quiet and the privacy of this house and can’t wait to return.

Kitchen was very well stocked with all the plates you’d need and a large fridge. Beautiful welcome hamper with local delights. No coffee machine, but was a French Press which was well used. Mel was amazing in responding to our needs as we arrived. I’d love to revisit in summer - must be beautiful to stay with all the extra activities. Only tiny negative was not being able to access any streaming channels (other than terrestrial) on TV to watch movies -...more
The white Heron estate were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. There were 14 of us sharing the house for a hen weekend and the hen loved it! It’s very downton abbey. The hot tub was a great bonus and we also did the walking tour in the Saturday which I would recommend with tasting afterwards back at the house of their delicious cassis and sparkling wine.
It’s a bit limited in terms of showers and water pressure in some and I would recommend for the owners a wider range but of glassware - high balls for G&T would ...more
