A peaceful retreat located in the village of Connel, An Cala sits at the mouth of Loch Etive, where the loch meets the sea and creates the famous 'Falls of Lora' rapids. Can't beat location and views, especially sunsets...with good nearby pubs and places to eat & drink without needing to drive afterwards...

Fab relaxing week. An Cala has everything needed for perfect break. Spacious, exceptionally clean accommodation. Lovely large dog friendly enclosed garden. Amazing views to enjoy from large livingroom window. Host very accommodating and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect including a thoughtful welcome pack.
5-10 minute drive to Oban.

Excellent location, with stunning views across the bay and generous supply of everything you might need from crockery, glasses, to dishwasher tablets, cleaning products etc.
Only minor item were the bed mattresses we found to be way too soft for us personally. But overall fantastic property with amble space for our party of 6 with a dog.

A beautiful house in a stunning location. We think this is the fourth time we have stayed here whilst holidaying in Scotland. An Cala feels like such a home-from-home and is always spotlessly clean! The house has everything you could as ask for, a fully equipped kitchen, the comfiest beds, underfloor heating and a safe, enclosed rear garden for kids and dogs. The location is perfect for popping into Oban. There is so much to see in the area - recommendations include walking Beinn Lora, lunch at The Linnhe Storehouse, a day trip to Mallaig (taking the train from Fort William) and catching the short boat over to Kerrera (an easy walk takes you to the Tea Garden and Bunkhouse, who offer delicious homemade foods). Hopefully we will be back again soon, still some areas we haven't explored!

Warm, cosy and spotlessly clean accommodation. Perfect location with uninterrupted views over Loch Etive and walking distance to Oyster Inn and Falls of Lora Hotel for meals.

Kitchen well equipped for all our needs but some areas of the house are a bit tired and dated and in need of a freshen up. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The house is well placed about a 10 minute drive from Oban. It has it's own off road parking. The main plus is the uninterrupted view of the sea and area. WONDERFUL

The house is SO clean. We met the cleaner and she has OCD - in a good way.

It does need some modification/updating but has a charm of its own.
