The Stables offers a luxurious self-catering holiday experience within a spacious, converted barn featuring five bedrooms. The property is arranged over two levels, making it an excellent choice for families, groups of friends, and guests with varying mobility requirements.

It is designed to accommodate between 1-10 guests. For a larger group it can be combined with the neighbouring “The Parlour”, to host up to 14.

We visited the Stables with our children and grandchildren to celebrate a special birthday. It exceeded all expectations. It’s a beautiful conversion, furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of cooking equipment, utensils and crockery and there are also plastic plates and bowls for the younger children.

The games barn was a hit with all ages and meant that a rainy Sunday afternoon was no problem.

Mark called round to check everything was ok and encouraged us to contact him or Helen if we had any problems. They provide a detailed information pack which gives loads of suggestions for local walks, family days out, pubs and cafe’s. There are also links to all these in the welcome email, which makes it easy to book activities or days out online.

I would highly recommend The Stables. Everybody loved it and we would all definitely return

Myself and my bridesmaids stayed at The Parlour and Stables the night before my wedding and got ready there together the morning of. The place was absolutely beautiful, perfect for a large group and Helen and Mark were so kind and accommodating liaising with me in the lead up to our stay to make sure everything was ready and leaving us a lovely hamper. Would 100% recommend and would definitely stay again!
