What a wonderful stay at the Ashton Estate Reubens Rooms, a place that was a real home away from home. Guido and Carol were a welcoming, and highly professional on-site estate management power team! The Reuben Rooms had everything I needed for a long weekend to rest and rejuvenate, and across the Ashton Estate one is spoilt for choice of walks and other outdoor pursuits. The different activity shepherd's huts in the woodland I found were a particularly charming idea.
Nearby the Chequered Skipper public house provided delicious food, as well as one or two friendly peacocks.
My first visit, but certainly not my last now that I have discovered it. Thank you again!
