The Ashton Estate is absolutely beautiful. Gainsborough House was our base camp whilst attending a big family wedding in Oundle.
Not only is it beautifully renovated, decorated and furnished, it was also very comfortable and well equipped.
We took full advantage of the courtyard space where we could sit out doors and admire the surroundings.
Only wish we could have stayed a little longer as we did not get a chance to explore the woodland walks. We will be back !
