Laurel is a two-bedroom, single-storey cottage sleeping up to four guests, with panoramic views across the Conwy Valley towards Eryri. It has its own private hot tub, a useful boot room and workspace, and access to the heated indoor pool, shared only with neighbouring Fig Tree. Dog-friendly and with no internal steps, Laurel can also be booked with Fig Tree as The Entire Getaway, sleeping up to nine.

We rented both cottages for our extended family and had a fantastic time. Feels rural and hidden away but easy to get to Conwy and other towns across the north coast. Cottages were really well furnished and the swimming pool/hot tubs are a fantastic addition. Would definitely come and stay again, thanks for a lovely stay!

What a place this is, stunning views of Conwy valley. The cottage had everything we needed, it is absolutely beautiful. Penny, the co-owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely visit again.

It is a well equipped and comfortable cottage with amazing views and plenty of outside space. The swimming pool and hot tub are great and were well used.
We visited with our grandchildren and we all loved it. We hope to return.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Laurel cottage. It was just like the previous 2 stays, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!.
So if you are thinking about going, stop messing around JUST BOOK IT.
You will love it.

Everything the hosts have achieved for guest comfort shines through, and on top of that, the information supplied is extremely comprehensive and useful. Heed their warnings about narrow steep roads, though that is what makes the stay such a peaceful one, with stunning views as well.
We look for high quality breaks, and certainly got one this time. Slightly better weather for cycling out would have helped, but we loved the one sortie on the local lanes.
There's plenty of local attractions, trains, castles, gardens, scenery .. thank you again for the most luxurious base.

Easy to find the cottage with the instructions given. We were welcomed on arrival. The cottage was immaculately clean
with everything required for a comfortable stay. Main bedroom is of a particularly high standard. The pool is a definite plus.

Our stay at Laurel Cottage was simply quite perfect and we must say a big thank you to Penny and Suzy for their excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble - every request or query we had was answered immediately with thoughtfulness and respect from the moment of welcoming us to our departure. The cottage was spotless and comfortable with the most spectacular views of the hills and valley …we just couldn’t tear our eyes away. It was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable.Having had a hip replacement operation six weeks previously, I was relieved to discover how easy it was to get around the cottage and practise my walking in the long immaculate garden! The walk in shower was greatly appreciated too!
My daughter and son in law loved the pool and the hot tub…and next time hopefully I will be fit to use them too. We came because we needed an escape from the pace of life for a few days…what we found was, in my daughter’s words, a little piece of heaven.

Absolutely stunning dog friendly place to stay, the most beautiful view to wake up to and enjoy a cup of coffee taking it all in. We had the most amazing and relaxing week, didn’t want to leave. We also got engaged there - so will always have special memories for us.
The pool is fantastic perfect temp, and room is heated also. Hot tub is spot on, nice seating area outside (sadly weather was wet most of week so we didn’t get much chance to use it) had many day trips planned, but just enjoyed chilling at the cottage most days. We did visit conwy castle and Llandudno and would recommend both.
We will be back soon.

We stayed at Laurel with our eight and ten year old boys and had a fantastic time! The pool is excellent, and although shared with Fig Tree cottage, there was an expectation that each cottage take it in turns to use it, making it essentially a private pool. The hot tub has spectacular views of the hills, as does the outside seating area. There is loads of space outside for the kids to kick a ball around and run around. The cottage itself is spacious, and with the bedrooms at either end of the cottage, would also suit a group of adults. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen well equipped. We made use of the laundry room, which has appliances that are very easy to figure out - bonus! It is situated in a rural location, but only a few miles to a main road. We found loads to do in the area with or without kids. We’d highly recommend and will be booking again in the future.

We spent a memorable 5 nights at Laurel.
Penny made a point of greeting us on arrival, showing us around the house and pool area.
The house is very nicely furnished, big comfy bed, great sofa, laundry room and lots of well- thought of homely touches!
The huge garden is great and the view to Eyri and the Conwy valley is just breathtaking!!
The pool is a fantastic addition, giving hours of fun(and exercise )
Penny was a lovely host and not intrusive at all.
If being very picky, we would say a couple more saucepans and change of washing line position would help, but really very minor for what is overall a gem of a holiday retreat!
Would absolutely recommend!!

I booked Laurel for my 30th birthday and wow. What an idyllic retreat. The accommodation is situated in the welsh countryside and secluded up a hill. The accommodation was outstanding, the mountain views, the large land/garden - incredible! The area is shared with another cottage attached, however it still felt private and secluded. It has a huge shared indoor heated pool which really was a wow factor. The property comes equipped with everything you need (pots, pans etc). Extremely clean, cosy and comfortable. We did not want to leave. Penny the owner was lovely, met us when we arrived and showed us round and how to work hot tub etc. Communication was excellent. The most perfect staycation, thank you for having us. It really made my 30th birthday memorable. I will absolutely be returning!
