Had a weekend away with 14 friends. Gorgeous old property, beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. Positioned in centre of the village next to lovely old pub. Property able to sleep us all in beautiful rooms. Loft had adjoining twin and double room with a curtain to separate them, which was as described and great if you are with family. Plenty of off road parking. Would definately recommend. Deborah was really helpful with the booking.

A very enjoyable family weekend spent at The Malthouse for my parents joint 80th party

A historic, unique building, lots of space, superbly equipped, very dog friendly, lovely grounds to the rear and a great pub next door!

Bath is just a 15 min drive away and we spent a sunny January Saturday afternoon exploring the city centre

The milk, cake and flowers was a lovely touch, and the communication in the lead up to the weekend was excellent

First class stay at this beautiful house.
We all loved the house. Beds were so comfortable and rooms spacious and spotless.
Easy access to local buses into Bath.
Lovely local walks across fields and countryside.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a large house with comfort and luxury.
Deborah was very helpful and on hand if needed.

We had a family get-together for Christmas at The Malthouse, and it was perfect. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
In the run-up to Christmas, Deborah was fantastic — she responded very quickly to all of my (many!) questions . Parking was easy for all of our cars, and the trolley provided made bringing our luggage up to the house effortless.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend Christmas together.

We loved our stay at the Malthouse property! We were a group of 16 and the space was a perfect size. Great communication from the host and the house has everything we needed. Beautifully decorated inside even with a nice touch of a xmas tree, thank you!

This was an ideal stay cation for our family. Everybody had a bed,which were all very comfortable amd each couple had a room. One of the group has just had a baby so the bedroom across a path from the main house was perfect for them as it was like a self contained flat.
Deborah couldn't have been more friendly or obliging. We had a welcome pack and some apples from the orchard which were delicious and welcomed. We all had a wonderful time, we were able to sit in the garden and enjoy the country sounds.
It was within easy reach of a couple of pubs and a farmshop. We would highly recommend this place for a large gathering. Thanks Deborah

We booked the malthouse for a surprise weekend for my mum’s birthday. Deborah was very informative and helpful and the whole house was beautiful. We loved staying there and will definitely return.

We had an excellent weekend away as a group of families. The house had everything we needed and was very clean when we arrived. The bedrooms were all spacious and had the beds set up as we requested. Deborah was very communicative and helpful. The house was in a great location for local walks and exploring nearby castles and sights.

We had a wonderful stay at The Malthouse for my sister’s hen do. The house and gardens are beautiful, with gorgeous furnishings and excellent facilities. The kitchen was very well equipped for catering for a large group, and Deborah even brought us more wine glasses to ensure we had plenty.
Deborah was a fantastic host - she dealt with all my questions and was very helpful with the booking process.

My family and I stayed at the Malthouse for a long weekend. It's a fantastic place with an attentive and amiable host. The building has a real charm and the garden is beautiful. It's located in a lovely village with two great pubs a literal stone's throw away.

I wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you're thinking about it - the host answered all our questions and accommodated us wonderfully.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house just outside Bath. I could not have imagined a more perfect place to enjoy a great weekend with family and friends….plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms…great entertaining spaces, as well as quiet places to escape to…and the most picturesque garden to sit in the sun! The pub next door was full of character and very friendly staff, there was also a very convenient bus that stopped outside and took us right to the centre of Bath! Perfect!
