The Barn is well appointed and enormous for two people! Amazing views with peace and quiet too. All we heard was the distant church bells ringing. The sitting room fire is beautiful. The bed is very comfortable and the sofa is squishy. Lovely stone floors and many quirky style details. Escape from it all!
We had a mixed family group of varying age groups and this house served us very well.The kitchen was well equipped and made our holiday easier . The outside space was enjoyed by the little ones and the table tennis was appreciated by the big ones. Yet the best of all was the view, eating outside on the terrace with that panaramic outlook was sublime.
We had a lovely stay at Coombe Barn with the family and dogs. It’s a beautiful barn in a great location, and we felt very lucky and grateful to have been able to stay here. The house is lovely, with beautiful, cosy rooms, and everything was very clean and well looked after. We especially loved the ping-pong table in the garage and the cinema room, which were both fun! The garden was also lovely, and our dogs had a brilliant time too. The surrounding area is beautiful, with lovely views over the reservoir, and we really enjoyed our visits down to the lake and walks nearby through the coun...more
