We live on the edge of the South Down national park so where we go has a lot to live up to, and WOW what a view from this wonderful property was amazing. As soon as we turned into the lane leading to the barn we knew we would be happy here, the verges were full of wild flowers and dancing butterflies. And the barn didn’t disappoint either. With Plenty of walking straight from the property we were in our element.
We stayed at Heronmere while attending ArcTanGent festival, which takes place at Fernhill Farm, just a short drive away. Very comfortable, amazing view, convenient location with a pub and a shop nearby. We'll be back!
Our group had a wonderful stay at Coombe Barn and would highly recommend it. The property was spacious and the outdoor space was lovely too. It was well-equipped and there were lots of nice extras too like the Yeo Valley products, local charcoal and natural firelighters. So kind to let us visit the Yeo Valley Gardens outside the usual opening hours too. Our only minor issue was that those sharing the twin bedroom had to go downstairs to the toilet and the bathroom was quite some distance away. Shame that a shower hadn't been put in alongside the downstairs toilet. It looked like there would...more
