The Sty is the largest and most spacious of our two-bedroom cottages, offering a light-filled, airy retreat perfect for families or couples seeking extra room to relax. The front door opens into a welcoming hallway, leading to a modern bathroom with both a bath and shower. The open-plan living room and kitchen are designed for comfort, featuring a cosy two-seater and three-seater sofa arranged around a charming coal-effect fire—ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring.

The master bedroom boasts a luxurious king-size bed, while the second bedroom has two comfortable single beds. Both rooms are generously sized, with plenty of space for a travel cot, making this cottage perfect for families. With its blend of space, comfort, and natural light, The Sty offers the ultimate countryside escape in the heart of Cornwall.

Absolutely love staying here we have been coming for many years. Always find new places to visit as well as our favourites and it’s the perfect base for the Lizard and beyond.

The Sty is a light, roomy cottage, in a good location, walking distance to the village. There is a on large field on site, leading to the coast path, which is great for dog walks! The staff are all extremely helpful & the property was spotlessly clean.

Our family had the best week at Trenance Farm, which is in the most beautifu setting on the Lizard. The site has all you need for a great holiday, and more...

Overall, we all enjoyed the comfort of Sty Cottage and all the facilities available; our son made great use of the swimming pool, play area, and games room. It is also only a short drive to some lovely spots (Coverack, Cadgwith, Gunwalloe, Porthleven etc).

Best of all was being able to walk out to catch low tide at Polurrian beach (our favourite), and to watch the sunset at Mullion Cove. Magic.

Another successful return to Terrance Farm staying in Sty Cottage which we have not stayed in before. I think we have almost completed the set!! As always a great welcome, accommodating staff with a booking at short notice and very comfortable. Really enjoyed using the Pool for the first time in the nice weather which we found very relaxing. Will be back again in the future and hopefully for a longer stay.

We enjoy Terrance, a great location for the Lizard peninsula, which is quite than many place in Cornwall - and all the better for it. (reminds us of South Devon a few decades ago!). The cottages are well fitted out, and there are places to visit close by, a co-op and supermarket in Mullion about half a mile away. EV charging next door, but it is very slow (3kw when I used it), Helston and Porthleven have fast chargers.

Mullion Cove is short walk away, I am sure we will be back.

We have been visiting Trenance for 30 years + now. The cottages are always well presented and comfortable with everything you need. They’re great if you have a dog as there’s plenty of room for an early morning and late evening walk around the fields.
Tamara and Mr & Mrs Tyler-street are always very welcoming.
I’d love to recommend it but I won’t as you’ll book and we won’t be able to get in. ;-)
