Finchairn Farm House provides luxury accommodation for ten guests.

The Farmhouse is set in a stunning, elevated position overlooking Loch Awe and is completely secluded, with no neighbours.

You enter the property via a private courtyard and outbuildings for storing any belongings you don’t want inside the farmhouse. The courtyard at the back of the property is a real suntrap, sheltered from the wind.

To the front, a large garden bordered by a traditional dry-stone wall offers far-reaching views across the loch, perfect for enjoying a barbecue, relaxing on teak garden furniture, or gathering around the fire pit on clear evenings.

The farmhouse comfortably sleeps ten guests across five spacious double bedrooms and four bathrooms. Two downstairs bedrooms are en-suite: one king-sized and the other can be arranged as super-king or twin. Upstairs, three large bedrooms include two twin/super-king rooms and one king-sized room. All bedrooms feature fitted cupboards, dressing tables, hairdryers, handmade bedheads, side tables, and electric blankets.

Bathrooms throughout include large walk-in Aqualisa showers, and two of the bathrooms—one upstairs and one downstairs—also feature baths. All rooms offer stunning, uninterrupted views down to the loch.

The farmhouse has a well-equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, two ovens, dishwasher, large larder fridge, and microwave, all complemented by far-reaching views over Loch Awe. Adjacent is the separate dining room, seating ten, with a log burner, breakfast bar, and glass-fronted cupboards with display lighting—perfect for entertaining.

The main sitting room is cosy and inviting, with a log burner, smart flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi, all while looking out over the loch and private courtyard. For additional space or children’s entertainment, the playroom offers its own log burner, ping pong table, smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked games cupboard.

Practical features include a downstairs WC and utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, large upright freezer, ample storage cupboards, and a pulley for drying laundry. We provide three full baskets of logs on arrival, with additional logs available if needed.

This is a perfect, spacious family home, ideal for holidays and gatherings.

Reduced prices are available for smaller groups outside July and August—please contact us for details.

Booking details: Minimum stay of four nights. During July and August, we aim to offer weekly lets from Sunday to Sunday, but please enquire as late availability may allow for flexibility. Arrival is from 5pm, giving us time to prepare the farmhouse for your stay.

A warm welcome awaits at this exceptional family farmhouse!

Lovely spacious & comfortable accommodation for our group of friends in a beautiful location
Plenty of parking & outbuilding for storage of bikes/canoe equipment
Bedrooms/bathrooms were a bit cool but electric blankets a nice treat. Wood burners made the dining room, living room & games room very cosy during a cold & frosty spell of weather
Plenty of fridge/freezer space and kitchen well appointed to cater for a group of 10
Easy booking process & good communication
Thank you to Willa & Archie at Ederline Estate for a great week
Would highly recommend Finchairn Farmhouse to others

Being only 4 of us and two Giant Schnauzers, the house may seem slightly large. However, it fitted our purpose exactly and was very welcoming. A roaring fire in the evening and fabulous views in the daytime this house had everything we needed.

The dogs enjoyed their time both in the enclosed garden and wider afield. It is a working farm so unless your dog is sheep and cattle trained and friendly, it needs to be on a lead. There are many walks and for those slightly more energetic a fantastic walk to the top of the estate.

We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend any of the lodges and houses on the estate for your stay
