​This one-level, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, is located at the rear of the property on the first floor, with sea views to the front from the open plan kitchen, dining and living space and bedrooms at the rear, overlooking the garden.

The apartment itself was absolutely stunning, very well appointed and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were equivalent to a 5 star hotel and the lounge was cosy and comfortable with a huge TV. The only problem with the TV was that it was a little confusing to use but everyone is used to there own TV and how to use it so other people probably would find it similar to there own. The kitchen and dining area are well laid out with everything you could possibly need for a week away.
The overall building is a triumph of design and conservation having been sympatheticly converted at what appears to be no expense spared. The location of Arran Shores is spot on being just a short stroll from the village of Lamlash where there are a few restaurants, pubs and shops including a good convenience store. There are plenty of nice walks right outside the front door and further afield. The views from Arran Shores are lovely with Lamlash Bay and Holy Island to the front and hills and forests to the rear. We stayed in apartment No9 which was in the new extension to the rear of the property and in the apartment details was said to have sea views and views of Holy Island which it did but was slightly limited due to the main body of Arran Shores and the building next door, not really a problem as we spent most of the daylight hours out and about but it was nice to see before we headed out for the day.
One other thing we really liked was that you don't need keys to get in and out of the building as there is a coded key pad at the entrance to the building and each apartment which I assume is particular to you for the length of your stay, so no need to worry about loosing keys .
Overall our stay was absolutely fabulous and would we return in the future, in a heartbeat yes and we will be returning soon.
The Isle of Arran is so beautiful and peaceful it is barely believable with so many places to visit, wonderful sights, great restaurants delightful distilleries and for me fabulous golf courses and lovely walks.
If you are considering a stay at Arran Shores don't hesitate just book it you will not regret it. Five Star for sure !!
