The weather was cold and frosty. But coachman's cottage was warm and very comfortable. So nice to go back to after a walk on the beach.
One morning there were deer in the courtyard.

Coachman's is a little gem of a cottage, perfect for a relaxing break. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything you could need. Plenty of room and the conservatory is great to relax and read in. The cottage is tucked away in the Galloway countryside with lots of walks, close to beaches which are all dog friendly. Evelyn and her team are perfect hosts. We have been visiting Chapelton Cottages for many years now and they never disappoint. We will be back again next year. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Another wonderful week at this warm comfortable and well equipped cottage.
As radio amateurs we find the conservatory a great place to set up the station.
There are lots of lovely walks not to far from the cottage.Brighouse bay being a favourite of ours.

The location and cottage never fail to give us a relaxing and comfortable holiday. Borgue is close to lots of places to visit. Brighouse bay is on the doorstep for having a walk on the beach.

We have had another lovely stay at Coachman's Cottage. Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. It is well equipped and has everything that you could possibly need. The house is in a perfect location for us, very quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing break. Ideally situated for exploring the beautiful area that is Dumfries and Galloway. Lot's of walks directly from the cottage. Highly recommend. We are looking forward to returning later in the year. Thanks to Evelyn and her team for lovely stay.

Amateur radio is fantastic from this location, wonderful cottage, very comfortable. Took MP1 and mounted in courtyard, worked Asia, South America, Antarctic and over 100 DXCC on 35 watts. When no playing radio lots to see and do. recommend this location for anyone who wants a holiday with a mixture of rest and radio. Have already booked again

Enjoyed a perfect week at Coachman's Cottage. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The cottage is very well equipped and very comfortable. Perfectly tucked away for a peaceful holiday in the beautiful countryside. Perfect for our dogs too, walks straight from the doorstep, a small, enclosed garden at the rear which is a lovely suntrap too. Evelyn is theperfect host. We will back very soon.
