Another fantastic holiday in the lakes. Visited Rose cottage many times over the last few years and would recommend to anyone wanting a calm, comfortable base from which you can enjoy so much fell walking. Good local amenities, great pub and friendly, helpful locals. Driving to places like Penrith or Keswick doesn’t take long and you get to see some lovely countryside. The enclosed garden is great for our dogs and they love playing on the large lawn.
