Set in the heart of historic Dochfour Gardens this 3 bedroom former gardener’s cottage has been reimagined to provide a luxury holiday haven with gorgeous views directly onto the loch and gardens.

Entering through the arboretum you will then be directed to the cottage with its own enclosed space. Guests not only have their own private garden complete with wood fired hot tub and fire pit area but also direct access to the arboretum. A world with in a world surrounded by wonderful views and wildlife, yet only 10 minutes from the amenities of Inverness.

We had a brilliant weekend staying at this beautiful cottage just outside Inverness to celebrate my partner’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had plenty of space for the four of us to relax comfortably.

Everything has clearly been thought of. We were welcomed with a lovely breakfast basket, and it was a thoughtful touch to find eggs and butter ready in the fridge for us. It really made us feel at home straight away.

We especially loved how private and peaceful the cottage felt, it really made the weekend feel special. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus (once we got the hang of it!), and it felt magical sitting in it while the snow started to fall around us. Such a memorable experience.

The location is perfect too, with lots of places of interest nearby to explore during the day, while still feeling like a quiet retreat when you return.

We’d absolutely love to come back in the summer to make even more use of the outdoor space and BBQ area. A wonderful stay from start to finish — highly recommended!
