From the start a very warm welcome to a well equipped and comfortable cottage. Quality fixtures and fittings in all areas. A nice touch was a cream tea waiting for us on arrival.
I stayed for 3 days in the Orlando cottage with my husband for our one year anniversary. We both were really happy with our stay, Ellen was really lovely and we loved the special touches, they had petals on the bed with a lovely card and box of chocolates. The kitchen has everything you could need for a short stay and the bed was just SO comfortable, had a really good sleep there. The cottage is a good size for two people and it warms up really easily. Excellent experience once again. It's a real pleasure to stay at Sampson Cottage. A lot of thought has clearly gone into the fit-out - such as the TV on a swivel arm so it can be watched in either the kitchen or lounge areas, and a high-quality integrated DAB radio system in the bathroom. Lovely to have homemade scones and clotted cream, and a bottle of high-quality French red wine, awaiting our arrival. Multiple streaming services available through the TV, really nice standard crockery, saucepans and cutlery, plentiful easy parking.
