A spacious detached farmhouse tucked away from it all in total seclusion. Accommodation is or 6 (plus one extra person with the provision of a Folding Guest Bed, by arrangement @ £50.00). Bedroom 1 (En-suite) with a King Size Bed. Bedroom 2. A Twin with 2 full size Single beds. Bedroom 3 (En-suite) with a Double Bed. Upstairs Family Bathroom. Downstairs Shower Room with a Nordic Sauna.

Large Kitchen-diner and spacious Lounge with original Inglenook fireplace with wood burner. Lawned garden with a suntrap Patio with picnic table and BBQ.

We have just enjoyed another amazing holiday and stay at Hendre. Situated in quiet countryside, it is only a short drive to nearby Criccieth and Porthmadog. It is dog friendly, very clean and as soon as you walk through the door you feel at home straight away. Our family and dog Bella, can’t wait to return next year for another stay in a wonderful cottage. Thanks again Anwen for another fantastic stay.

A lovely large spacious comfortable farmhouse, with all amenities required. Well located for exploring both the mountains and the coast. If you want to get away from the noise of everyday life, this is the place. And lovely hosts.

Hendre Farmhouse is an extremely comfortable home to stay in and everything is provided. We especially enjoyed using the Portmeirion china which is plentiful. The location is blissfully peaceful ;we could only hear the birds which was a treat after the city noise. Anwen was always on hand if we needed anything and when we asked for a repair of the tv it was sorted very promptly. We would highly recommend this cottage and look forward to another visit ourselves.

Another fabulous stay at this beautiful house. Clean and very comfortable. The house is warm and cosy but extremely spacious. A real home from home. Location is perfect for exploring Snowdonia with beautiful beaches to walk, Mountains to climb within 30 minutes of the house. Harlech beach is just beautiful and Beddgelert river walk a must (you can also loop back to the village over the mountains) Snowdon an experience not to be missed. Sunday lunch at the Goat Inn just 10mins drive from the house is highly recommended. We were sad to leave and have already booked to return next year. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Very quiet and peaceful location, friendly cows, lovely walks and The Goat Inn is a must as brilliant food and hospitality, also dog friendly.

The location is deep in the countryside, the cottage is spacious, relaxing and peaceful. An extra shower would be good.

We’ve just enjoyed another fabulous family holiday at Hendre. This was our 3rd stay at Hendre and 5th overall with Rhos-Cottages and our stays just get better and better. Anwen always provides a friendly warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Hendre is like a home from home and spotlessly clean and comfortable and dog friendly .The location is perfect, very quiet and relaxing in beautiful countryside but also a short drive from the coast and beaches at Criccieth and Black Rock Sands. We love it here and can’t wait to come back.

Had another lovely 3 night stay at Hendre at the beginning of June. Everything you need is provided, even down to some silver foil just incase you want to make a picnic for the beach! Hendre is surrounded by fields so it's lovely talking to the cows or just sitting in the gardens looking out over the beautiful views. Ideally located as a base for lots of different beaches or trips into Snowdonia. Our dog Stanley loves his time there as we can leave the door open for him to roam around. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can eat in, have a BBQ or pop to the pub, only 5 minutes away. Highly recommend a visit.

Hendre Farmhouse is in a lovely part of North Wales. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and kitchen very well equipped. We were a party of 6 adults with a bathroom for each couple. There was plenty of room for all both inside and outside the property. Lovely views surround the property. An ideal place to relax as it was so quiet and peaceful. Our only near neighbours were the cows! The farmhouse is a little off the beaten track so you need to be prepared to drive everywhere. The hosts were very welcoming and also very helpful when making the booking. We visited the interesting Lloyd George Museum and local pub at Llanystumdwy, which is close by. Dylan's restaurant in Criccieth is well worth a visit!

We have been visiting the Llyn Peninsula over several years and have often stayed in one or other of the Rhos Country Cottages. Always spotlessly clean on arrival and very well equipped. Lovely comfortable beds. Anwen visits soon after arrival to check everything is OK. Will be back again.

Hendre Farmhouse is in a beautiful, peaceful and secluded location with a pair of swallows nesting nearby. It was conveniently situated just 5 miles from Cricieth so within easy reach of coastal paths and walks in the surrounding countryside or further afield. A circular walk from Beddgelert which included Llyn Dinas was fabulous as was a visit to the Whispering Sands and a walk along the coast. Well worth visiting was the nearby Lloyd George Museum and Plas Newyyd House (Natinal Trust).
Hendre was spacious, warm, very comfortable and well equipped with plenty of hot water. Lovely views from indoors and the outdoor seating areas. The owners (Anwen and Peredur ) were very welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend this property and hope to return.

Hendre is an amazing place. Well located for exploring north wales, the house is just fabulous. Comfortable and spacious and a welcome treat after a long day walking. Beds are comfy (which even the children commented on), kitchen is large with a good range of utensils and appliances. House was very clean.
We have stayed at Hendre several times over the last 17 years and it never fails to amaze us.
Owners have recently updated bathrooms and kitchen tiles so it feels modern whilst still feeling like a country home.
A real find and definitely home from home. Looking to our next visit.

This is the second time we have stayed at Hendre Farmhouse for three weeks with our children and grandchildren. It is well equipped, very clean and spacious. Anwen and her husband (the owners) do an amazing job and we love having interesting chats with them. The farmhouse is in a beautiful secluded spot and our new little dog loved the walks around the nearby lanes and fields – she also liked the cows. There is so much to do and see around the area and is within easy reach of Criccieth and Porthmadog. We have booked again for next year.

Four of us enjoyed a relaxing time at Hendre. Good sized bedrooms with comfy beds. A remote place. Just sheep and cows as neighbours! Nice walks and within easy 30 minutes drive to many attractions. Would go back.
