Two people stay for 3 days fishing on the estates Middle Ettrick beat. The stay in the Bothy was very good also value for money the fishing also good lovely place to stay. Just 1 niggle the parking to fish the pools a bit difficult to find a bit more signage would help big thanks to Ivor for his advice and help to find the parking and the pools.
This was our second visit in 6 months. It’s a marvellous location for the family with spacious, warm and relaxing accommodation overlooking the gardens and woods. It’s ideal for everyone with an impressive outdoor play area for the young at heart, local walks to admire the landscape and explore the woods/lochs/river, do some bird spotting, study unusual tresses, insects and plants. The cafe is excellent and well worth a visit for a coffee, soup, sandwich or cake. The grandchildren had a superb time.
