We have been to the hollies a few times, but never at Christmas until this time, the setting outside was stunning, lights entwined around trees and bushes. Inside the Scot’s pine was just as beautiful with a tree and festive lights around the fireplace. The farm shop and shops were just as festive and magical with lights and music playing. We really enjoyed a relaxing time here over Christmas. Well done team hollies on creating such a beautiful setting at Christmas time.
Cathedral House was just perfect for our adult family for our week of holiday and golf…it is a charming house with beautiful finishes and all that you could possibly hope for in a short term rental… We will most definitely be heading back to Dornoch and be using Cathedral House…. Absolutely stunning lodge, even better with the hot tub. The new mezzanine room is gorgeous, however the green emergency light lights up the whole room at night which makes it difficult to sleep (especially as we had our 10 month old with us in the room!), it was quite a nightmare. There was also a few screws uncovered on the ceiling and walls and the hot and cold settings on the shower are the wrong way round. Other than these issues, we had a really lovely stay and the location was fantastic.
This was our second stay in the Speyside Suite at Hollies Lodges, and once again, it was absolutely faultless. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and perfectly maintained. The lodge was immaculately clean, and the attention to detail was clear throughout - from the high-quality furnishings to the thoughtful touches that made the space feel like a true home-from-home. The suite itself is extremely comfortable, with a luxurious bed, plush seating, and beautifully finished bathrooms. Everything is designed with relaxation in mind. Really enjoyed my stay. Two comments so you know - one the fan didn't work and secondly the welcome pack gave a 404 error. Didn't spoil my stay though
We have stayed here several times when we visit family locally. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, ideal for 4 generations of the family. The outdoor space has recently been improved and now has a lawn as well as the patio, which is a welcome addition in the warm summer months. The farm shop is a great asset and staff are always friendly. The accommodation is very peaceful and easy to relax in. It’s not cheap but it is excellent quality.
Very tasteful property, location perfect…. Room quite warm and would benefit from air conditioning. Also no milk in the room for tea. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing family break at Noble Fir! The lodge was everything and more that I could have asked for. Luxurious, extremely clean and fresh, top of the range equipment in kitchen etc and everything you need for a week away! The hot tub was a bonus and the peaceful, quiet environment was perfect. Emails prior to arrival were informative and afterwards. The Hollies Farm Shop on site was fabulous. Friendly, helpful staff with a delicious range of foods for a treat whilst staying at The Hollies! This was our second visit with friends this time and it did not disappoint at all. We have 4 lovely days of sun and the hot tub was as clean as ever. There was everything we needed for our stay no complaints. We visited the Hollies farm shop and bought some fresh produce from there and other bits too. As an ex head chef I do recommend the hollies farm shop. The Grand Fir lodge is beautiful we will 100% be back we cannot recommend this any higher. Second stay for 4 nights. Love the space in the log cabins. Everything you need is available in the cabin. Very quiet and lovely having a garden and hot-tub. Great location and so much to do in the area. The Hollies farm shop is fantastic. The reason I gave a 4 for condition was due to couple little areas that needed repaired. Will definitely be re-booking to go back again.
