Large 8 bedroom Victorian Country house, sleeping 20, available for hire as self-catered holiday accommodation. Set in acres of woodland and gardens with panoramic views over the Vale of Ffestiniog and the Moelwyn Mountain range. Great for friend/family get togethers, or walking, cycling and adventure holidays. A truly special place for a memorable stay.

If you are reading about this house, looking at the pictures and wondering whether it is too good to be true, it isn’t. This house is amazing, and completely lives up to and exceeds expectations.

I stayed with a large group of friends for a celebration and everyone was beyond impressed by the setting, the size, the views and the amenities. Not only does the property have everything you’d expect, it has more. The hot tub, the fire pit, the gym, the games room. There was something for everyone and I am genuinely now just looking for a reason to get family or friends together to return. You’re near some beautiful parts of Wales with some great outdoor activities to do. If you were with family, the house is stacked with board games.

The house feels lived in and you can feel the history of it. I will always remember the time I’ve spent there.

I always enjoy returning back to Caer Blaidd! It is such a beautiful place, the views are breathtaking even after 6 visits I am always in awe of the changing mountain view in front of the house which can be viewed from the big windows downstairs and each room at the front of the house. The house is always spotless, warm and welcoming. It is very well equipped and perfect for having personal space but lots of areas to socialise. The location is just perfect with so many lovely walks just from the doorstep and mountains not far away. I would warmly recommend Caer Blaidd to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to stay!

I'm a regular at this absolutely stunning property. You can't find a better location, it's easily accessible but feels remote and peaceful with the best views over the Moelwynion. The direct access to walking paths is brilliant and vicinity to a local shop for essentials. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean and spacious. It has been so lovingly restored and offers many different areas to sit and relax plus really spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen is also wonderful and well equipped. Everything is so well thought through, I would highly recommend this property!

Cae’r Blaidd is fantastic house with beautiful views over Snowdonia and great facilities. We stayed with 20 people and everyone loved it with not a single complaint. The house is spacious and comfortable with a decent kitchen and great rooms. The showers were good and importantly the beds were very comfortable. The wood fired hot tub worked a treat. The owners were friendly and helpful when making the booking and we would all definitely come and stay again.

The house was AMAZING and exceeded our expectations - the photos on the website don’t do it justice. It is in a great location and there are beautiful views of the Welsh countryside from the front of the house. The downstairs rooms were all huge, which was ideal for our New Years Eve celebration. The bedrooms are cozy and the beds were really comfortable. We didn’t get chance to use the arctic hut, but the hot tub was well used and was a very welcome addition! Ursula was really helpful before our stay answering queries etc. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Cae’r Blaidd. We hope to return soon!

We have just come back from a week staying here. There were 18 of us , 3 different families. We loved everything about it. The house was perfect and so spacious and the area perfect. Would defiantly recommend.

Our family group of 15 , age range 2 to 72, had a wonderful stay at Cae'r Blaidd. The setting is spectacular and the accommodation is extremely generous in size. All bedrooms, except the bunk bedded room, are very large and have a bathroom or ensuite, with extra common toilet facilities provided. The games room on the top floor and the gym in the basement were very popular, whilst the drying room in the basement was a great asset. We can wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful house.

Went to Snowdonia with a large group of friends and family for a long weekend walking, swimming and eating. The location of Cae'r Blaidd is fantastic and the views from the garden are wonderful. The kitchen and dining room are large and ideal for a big group. It was just perfect. We all had a fabulous time.

The house is magnificent. It really is huge! The photos of the place don't come close to showing how great it really is. The less than perfect weather didn't matter a bit. You could just sit and look at that view for a week and not get bored.

We have stayed with a family for a week. There was 14 of us, 8 adults and 6 children ranging from 4 to 14 years old. We have loved our stay, the house is very big - could have had at least one more family staying with us, if not 2. All the rooms were very clean, and bright some with amazing views! There's a garden with beautiful views (same from the dining and lounge, just stunning) and a hot tub, which was perfect after daily walks. The kitchen was really well equipped with 2 dishwashers, 2 fridge freezers, so ideal for a big family staying. The playroom upstairs was perfect for all the children, from our youngest 4 year old, who found plenty of toys to play with, through board games, table tennis, and x box, so pleased even 14 year old. We have all had fantastic time and couldn't recommend this place enough.

Amazing place to stay with a big group. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for parking. The Nordic hut was a particular highlight for our group and is a great place to socialise in the evenings. Would highly recommend

Caer Blaidd is a wonderful house in a spectacular location, run by a friendly and very efficient team. Unlike most rental properties, the house has bags of character, with its high ceilings, tiled floors and spectacular views from the dinner table, patio and several bedrooms. As a group of three families with 8 children/teens, we really appreciated the range of large bedrooms and range of spaces (indoor and out) for hanging out, which meant that everyone could find their own space. The house also has the best equipped rental kitchen we've ever used, and which made cooking an Easter Sunday roast for 14 pretty simple. The hot tub was an unexpected bonus which made our older teens' holiday. Some beautiful walks nearby and so many things to do. Would love to come again.
