Waters Edge is a contemporary styled, luxury holiday home on Cotswold Water Park in the southern Cotswolds near to Cirencester. Set on a private gated estate, this architecturally inspired, lakeside home has stunning views over a lake. The property benefits from a large, fully enclosed decking area & balcony off the master bedroom giving the illusion of being suspended over the water’s edge. Private hot tub. 3 bedrooms each with en-suite sleeping up to 6 people. Up to 2 dogs welcome

The mallard is in an ideal location, tucked away in the Cotswolds and a relaxing place to get away too. The house is stunning and fitted out with all the mod cons you expect

The hot tub is a proper one and is lovely. The team are great and well informed. They do not impose but are on hand if you need them, there is plenty of space and privacy for 3 couple or a big family, an en-suite in every room is a big plus!

We checked in late in the evening and it was raining, the surroundings were dark and not well-lit enough to locate our unit. We took some time to locate the unit.

When we got to our unit, the cabin was very petty and cozy welcoming my family. However, the thermoset took a long time to warm up, we wish that a better system to use.

The cabin size is great for our family of six. There are enough beds for the six of us and an ensuite for each room. However, there is a cut of time for the hot water and once your water tank is used up at night, there may not be hot water for a warm shower at night. overall, it is a nice resort to relax with family and friends.

Its my third time at Mallards Pike. A dream retreat, ight on the lake. Great walks from the doorstep. Close to shops and restaurants if that's what you want. Comfortable beds, warm with views to post on insta. See you next year.xx

We recently stayed in Watersedge - a beautiful lodge suited to those holidaying with someone with poor mobility issues - the downstairs bedroom with wet room was a godsend ! Fantastic lodge - well equipped and a beautiful location ! The only down side was that the access to the water was by launching yourself from the decking into lake- no ladder / steps which made it difficult ( but not impossible) for the older members of our family to access ! That’s said it didn’t stop us and a great time was had by all ! Will definitely recommend Watersedge and would go back again !

3 couples stayed in the lodge, it’s a lovely property situated right on the lake. Very beautifully decorated and comfortable and in a very peaceful location.

We were really pleased with all aspects of this break, especially the cleanliness and facilities offered within the lodge.
I feel that perhaps an enclosed area at the front of the lodge would be beneficial for the dogs, without having to keep them on a lead when a toilet break is required.
Other than this, perfection.

Absolutely amazing house with all the comforts you can possibly want and a lovely welcome basket.

The only thing stopping this weekend from being completely perfect was an issue with the heating and hot water which unfortunately could not be resolved whilst we were there and did affect us.

Such a shame as this house is in a great location and really does have everything you can possibly want.

Tip for future people - we found it impossible to get a taxi from the cottage on a Saturday evening.

For a property marketed as a luxury stay I was disappointed to find the place full of cobwebs and areas that just weren't cleaned. Things like damaged sofa with broken stitching and stuffing actually starting to come out of it, dead flies rolled up and dried in the roller blinds and dirty glass were just a few things to mention.
There were a number of things we felt needed attention that hasn't been serviced, so having stayed in luxury accommodation in the past, this really didn't match up to any of them.
