We were celebrating a 70th birthday with 8 friends and wanted to find a beautiful house to gather everyone -- and Thursford Castle was perfect. The house and grounds are stunning, the living area is incredibly comfortable, the kitchen is superbly stocked, the bedrooms are quiet and cozy, and the en suite bathrooms are quite amazing. We enjoyed all of the different indoor and outdoor seating areas over the course of the week -- and I am embarrassed to admit that we even made use of the foosball table!
