Beechcroft Cottages are fFour picturesque beamy cottages on a gated estate in a pleasant and informal grouping. They are in a superb setting on the edge of the village of Cowbeech, with open southerly views across a small lake to rolling countryside. Guests love the ambiance, tranquillity and the privacy and individuality that each property offers.
Perfect location for visiting Sussex and Kent.
Owner was very friendly and helpful and knows a lot about the local area from where to eat to where to visit / shop .
The cottage was very nice and clean. Well furnished and equipped with all the items needed throughout our stay.

We've just returned from a six-day stay at the Oast House, and from the moment we stepped inside, it felt less like a holiday let and more like a home. The owners have thought of and provided everything we could need, and it was sparklingly clean. We all slept so soundly; the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the quietness of the countryside is a real tonic. Our eldest slept in the single room, our twins in the double, and my wife and I took the lovely main bedroom with en suite. The Byre is in a nice peaceful location, and within 30 mins drive of loads of great places to visit. We enjoyed our time here, but a few things disappointed us:
1. No welcome hamper was provided, and no toiletries, dishwasher or laundry detergent. You need to bring everything! There wasn't even tea and coffee :( The owner said people prefer it this way, but it's the only place we ever stayed that didn't provide at least hand soap and a few tea bags. Hardly a luxury cottage....
2. There are no instructions for any of the appliances in the cottage, and we received only brief verbal imstruc...more
