Perfect location for visiting Sussex and Kent. Owner was very friendly and helpful and knows a lot about the local area from where to eat to where to visit / shop . The cottage was very nice and clean. Well furnished and equipped with all the items needed throughout our stay. Very happy with our stay and would happily return.

We've just returned from a six-day stay at the Oast House, and from the moment we stepped inside, it felt less like a holiday let and more like a home. The owners have thought of and provided everything we could need, and it was sparklingly clean. We all slept so soundly; the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the quietness of the countryside is a real tonic. Our eldest slept in the single room, our twins in the double, and my wife and I took the lovely main bedroom with en suite. The Byre is in a nice peaceful location, and within 30 mins drive of loads of great places to visit. We enjoyed our time here, but a few things disappointed us: 1. No welcome hamper was provided, and no toiletries, dishwasher or laundry detergent. You need to bring everything! There wasn't even tea and coffee :( The owner said people prefer it this way, but it's the only place we ever stayed that didn't provide at least hand soap and a few tea bags.
