Our 2nd stay at The Rookery in 2025 and, guess what, it was even more enjoyable than the first . Hard to believe, I know. In fact some of our group are returning later this year to stay in one of the smaller cottages. Beautiful countryside, lovely well appointed accommodation and the friendliest of owners. I know it’s easy to say but I can’t imagine how anyone could be disappointed.
Thank you Karen for our stay at Cart Cottage. We enjoyed your lovely setting although it was a little too hot to sit out and enjoy the view.
Fabulous, spacious, great facilities, beautiful location- super hosts - great value for money. Could not fault our stay and will definitely go back again. 100% recommend. Thanks Karen & Keith!
We stayed at the Dinney two years ago in Garden Cottage which was excellent and on that basis we decided to return. This year, as Garden Cottage was unavailable we booked Duck instead. Sadly, we were disappointed with the standard. The paintwork was marked in places and there were stains on the lounge rug and on the back door mat. Overall the cottage looked tired. The kitchen was ill equipped and had odd numbers of glasses, crockery & glassware. Three adults eating at the dining table (tucked under the stairs) was too cramped.
