We are so glad we chose to stay at the Northbrook Arms. As far as short stay accommodation goes, Plough Cottage offered all the conveniences you could want for, and many additional extras. The thoughtfulness of the welcome items, the decor and the styling of the property is wonderful. The team on site at the pub were very helpful and having the restaurant and pub next year was perfect. Thanks for having us.
Perfect accommodation for two and we really enjoyed the location. No unwanted noise from the pub and great to have a really good restaurant within a few meters of the back door. Extremely friendly and competent staff too. The old bakery had been very well and sensitively refurbished. Really comfortable bed, good bathroom and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast and spotted a hare in the adjacent field. Brilliant base for exploring Winchester and surrounding areas.
Wouldn’t do for a two week hol but absolutely perfect for two work nights away. Wonderful shower, comfy bed, nothing I’d have added. Service in the pub was excellent and food great. If/when they open for bfast we’ll be back.
