Stayed in Plough Cottage, family of 5 - the kids loved that every room had its own shower, they also very much appreciated the TVs in every room with Netflix. The cottage was lovely, very clean, very well decorated, a really nice place to stay with all the essentials provided - a bunch of very nice small touches too like fresh milk in the fridge. Overall the cottage is bigger and better than I imagined, felt like ample space for 5. We based ourselves in the village and had day trips out each day we stayed, worked well for us. The Old Bakery is a beautiful cottage with lovely outdoor space and a secure garden (great if you are bringing your dog along, as we did). The property is immaculate and tastefully furnished, and the welcome pack on arrival was a really nice surprise. Staff in the pub and restaurant are really nice and very accommodating. We attended a wedding there and it was such a fantastic location, and the cottages gave us all some quality family time after the event. Wouldn’t do for a two week hol but absolutely perfect for two work nights away. Wonderful shower, comfy bed, nothing I’d have added. Service in the pub was excellent and food great. If/when they open for bfast we’ll be back.
