We have visited previously and were very happy with our long weekend in Plough Cottage. A thank you to Kate for accommodating Charlie the dog when we ended up on emergency dog-sitting duties whilst his owner was in hospital. We had several meals in the pub, including the new breakfast offering and everything was superb. The pub has a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff were extremely helpful. No doubt we will visit again.
The location and pub services were perfect for our short break providing relaxation and plenty to explore in the local area. Being able to take our dog was essential for us. The welcome pack provided everything needed including some lovely fresh bread. The Old Bakery cottage was super clean and cosy with easy parking. We enjoyed a fantastic meal in the pub and, if required, breakfast is available in the pub, although we chose not to. Everything from booking, getting there, and equipment in the cottage made our stay seamless.
An amazing pub and beautiful room. Was great to have the very well equipped kitchenette. The food at the pub was lovely and it was a fabulous base for Southampton. Extremely relaxing and would happily stay again!
