We loved our stay at Flint Cottage. Perfectly clean, fresh and bright, with wonderful views and a delightful garden, this cottage doesn't disappoint. Comfortable beds, and sofas, immaculate bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen, plus lots of little thoughtful touches and all the comforts of home which made our holiday more relaxing.
This is a delightful cottage in a great location with very friendly and helpful neighbours. The salt marshes are a short walk away and we enjoyed walking to Wells returning by the local bus which dropped us right outside Bellas cottage..The Red Lion just along the road served. great food but you do need to book ahead. We visited Burnham Market, The Creaks and Sandringham House and gardens. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Due to a specific need we were looking for a property that met our layout requirements and where we could be left alone, The Wash House proved to be the perfect place. The location, property and facilities are excellent. The property does not deserve a negative review but we did encounter the following. The property was clean, however in our view there are a few items that could do with some attention that may not be seen on a regular weekly clean, mainly the en-suite bathroom could do with more than a standard clean to bring it back to a high standard. There were other minor things like a...more
Great accommodation in a good location for exploring North Norfolk. Had wonderful weather too and would high recommend for a nice break away.
This property is so close to the Quay (5 minute walk) it is a wonderful central location from which to explore Wells itself on foot. But also an excellent base to explore the North Norfolk coast and towns. The property had everything we needed for our short stay, including teabags, coffee and milk plus we were left wine and chocolates, a very thoughtful touch. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the dining table on the 1st floor looking across to the gorgeous view towards the beach road. The property was easy to find, but some specific instructions on where you are allowed to park would ...more
A few details that could have been better eg Several lamps not working, fridge door chafing on plinth, instructions for waste collection not clear, waste bin in kitchen lid not operating.
Ideally located for the region. Enclosed garden was perfect for the dog. The bathroom could do with updating and a decent king size bed would make the stay even more comfortable. Otherwise it was excellent. It was spotlessly clean and everything you needed was there. The welcome pack was very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Long Barn was very clean and welcoming. Everything was provided that we needed and all was very good quality, Our one criticism was the wetroom needed grab rails as there was nothing to hold on to. Lovely to have the whole family under one roof. Ideal for family groups. Setting was lovely. Garden was also well kept.
Cottage full of charm and character, stairs not ideal but we managed ok. We have stayed in many B&B and cottages up and down uk, have yet to find a shower with room and decent pressure. The cottage was clean and comfortable.
Easy to book , great village location , fantastic cottage, clean tidy and comfortable .We loved it !!
The cottage is very comfortable in a quiet village. A home away from home . The location is perfect for exploring North Norfolk without having to drive far. We had a great week. Thank you!
This cottage was a real find. The location is quiet and very peaceful with a beautiful, private garden. Everything you need is provided to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished and well equipped with essentials. A lovely welcome pack was provided and we were able to completely relax. The location is excellent, there are 2 good pubs within walking distance and lots to see and do in the area. Totally dog friendly, especially the very safe garden and lots of lovely walks. Can't wait to return.
We stayed at Chaff house for three weeks and found it to have everything we needed. It is in a great location with easy access to the coast and all other amenities. It was very peaceful and ideal for dog walking along the accessible paths around the fields on the farm. We would certainly return to Rookery Farm.
Rose cottage is a beautiful little house. Just big enough for four and in a brilliant location for exploring the north coast. Village is very quiet with a lovely pub but we ended up eating at the Nelson Inn in Burnham Market which was also really good. It’s really well equipped and pretty decor. Unfortunately 4/5 for cleanliness as it could have done with more attention to detail (need to check in drawers & cupboards!) although it was very clean overall. The grill didn’t work. Neither did the lamps downstairs. There was a dog poo to greet us on the lawn.
We've always booked with large well known companies so I was a little dubious about booking with Norfolk Stay, I needn't have worried as the booking process was easy and smooth. Cley Corner Cottage is a bird/nature watchers paradise. The view from the front bedroom window across the saltmarsh out to sea is stunning, it can even be seen from lying in bed! Waking in the morning and watching a pair of marsh harriers swooping over the marshes and hares relaxing in the morning sun with a large variety of wading and sea birds was amazing. The cottage was warm and had everything we needed, loved the ...more
Stunning first impression of the ridings, very clean and comfortable. A real home from home experience. The kitchen is well equipped (except for a measuring jug) and has a large fridge freezer and a dishwasher. Down stairs the accommodation is open plan and spacious. Upstairs there are two very large bedrooms and a bathroom. The ridings is very child friendly. Stair gates were provided both top & bottom. Our party consisted of 4 adults plus a one and three year old, so this was very much appreciated. The weather was not always on its best behaviour during our stay but the heating kept us all...more
The cottage is lovely and in a quiet village with a nice pub. Location is great as Holkham and Brancaster beaches are 20 minutes away by car. We had a lovely time visiting these and other nice estates such as Sandrigham and good meal at the PUB one of the evenings. It was great that the cottage was pet friendly so we brought our family dog along with our children. The property had everything we needed, including some essentials (soaps/detergents etc...), but could have been a bit more clean and the kitchen is a bit outdated. There were some flies downstairs so that was not very nice and was n...more
Webb site information on welcome pack incorrect and photos misleading - property smaller than thought Insufficient hot water for 8 people and heating system incorrectly set. Kitchen inventory needs updating ie saucepans with no fitting lids and no measuring jug etc. Stripping the beds before leaving is something the customer should not have to do as it is part of the service from self catering properties.
