It is important to start that we enjoyed our holiday. We have stayed in many many cottages home and abroad which gives us a balanced review of our stay. Sadly we feel the Old Workshop is “tired” and needs a few details which would dramatically improve customer satisfaction. The linen was clean and general house was acceptable. However the meat dish in the oven was dirty and obviously not been cleaned. The sofas were quite dirty and during our stay my son in law fell off the sofa as it came apart and was observed to be balanced on wood blocks. Had a good stay , a few areas need doing up, like the rusty radiator in the bathroom and the skirting board.
Amazing stay the night before and night of our wedding reception. Super spacious, amazing drinks and snacks, quiet location with comfy beds. Easily the best value for money for accomodation in New Mills!
