A spacious and well appointed apartment in a fabulous setting. Staff on site were very helpful. No problem in summer, but the drafty windows may make it chilly in winter
We loved the location with walks straight from the front door either down the steps into the woods or up the slope to the canal. Very good spot to stay with a dog. Very quiet at night and quite cool at night in the recent hot weather. Great views from the windows in the sitting room. Tor Vale Tap was a very handy place to visit for a meal with the dog. Good prices, good food and right on the doorstep.
Not a good set up for a bridal suite - very very early check out for previous bride results in embarrassing overlaps and tensions at change over. Having a separate bridal suite to get ready in on premise would massively improve this for bride and groom. Air bnb style, therefore no customer service. Accommodation is pleasant but nothing to write home about - there are notably better value air bnbs in walking distance from this one. Voucher included for cafe, but cafe service is questionable.
