Heath Cottage was built circa 1900 and it is a fine example of a truly lovely Norfolk cottage, complete with original Norfolk winder staircase. It has been extended tastefully over a number of years into the light, spacious and beautiful cottage that it is today. This full of character cottage is situated at the edge of a charming village with two very dog friendly pubs and lots of walks from the door, including direct access to Weavers Way. Sea Palling, with its Blue Flag beach, is just a short 5 minutes by car and Horsey beach, famous for its seals, is a short 12 minutes drive away.

Wonderful quirky cottage. Lots of space inside and out. The dog loved the garden, she's a foiled escapologist this time, which is great.
Kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were really comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Heath Cottage - the cottage is beautiful and we loved being able to sit in the conservatory to eat breakfast. There are some lovely walks around and, at the time we stayed, just the one pub nearby which served great food & had a really nice atmosphere. Places to visit within easy reach include East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden, Sea Palling Beach, Winterton-on-Sea & Potter Heigham (with its famous bridge) as well as the local nature reserve.
When the cottage we originally booked was unexpectedly unavailable, East Coast Hideaways went above & beyond the call of duty to find us an alternative.
