We have stayed on Atholl Estates for 20 years now, but it was a first in this beautifully restored cottage. The housekeeper Yvonne and Head of Maintenance Graham live next door and were very helpful, they made sure we had enough logs as we had a big storm during our stay and even bought around a bottle of fizz for my birthday celebration. It was everything we needed for a stay, with us and our 2 Labradors, who loved the walks right on our doorstep. It was so great we have booked again for a few weeks time. Perfect.
This was an absolutely amazing spot to stay. Scenery was fantastic and the accommodations were the best we had on our entire trip.
Third visit and won’t be the last.Excellent accommodation in a lovely part of Scotland with lots of interesting places to visit.

We had such a lovely two-night stay at Lapwing Shepherds Hut. It was the perfect little getaway — so peaceful, cosy and relaxing. The hut itself was beautiful, really comfortable and had everything we needed. It felt so private and peaceful, and it was lovely just being able to switch off, slow down and enjoy the surroundings. We came away feeling completely refreshed and genuinely didn’t want to leave! Such a lovely place for a couple of nights away. We will definitely be back!
A lovely few days staying at Charlottefield spending time exploring the quieter parts of Perthshire. We especially liked the remoteness of the cottage and the views from it. Mornings were delightful watching the low lying clouds burning off as the day warmed up.
Glen Glack Cabins are the perfect combination of style comfort and tranquility. You step into the cabin with its stunning views through birch trees to a loch and feel as though you are miles away from everything and yet you are a short walk from all the artisan shops in Dunkeld. It is easy to see why people book year after year.
Fantastic location and great cabin. Well equipped and tastefully furnished. Very good for walking. You would not need to use your car if you chose not to. Only 20 minutes walk into Dunkeld which has some lovely shops and great eateries. We will definitely go back.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend for my partner's birthday at Willow, Glen Glack The cabin was easy to get to and well situated with lovely views of the Loch from the deck. The customer service was fantastic and very responsive, with an easy booking process. The cabin itself is very tastefully done, and kitted with everything you need for a short break. Would recommend to anyone wanting an accessible break in nature.
I stayed with Atholl Estates for the 2nd time. We had a great trip. The location is very good with good access to local amenities in Pitlochry. We encountered a few issues with midges, but the Estate office was prompt to help sort the issue out. I would stay with Atholl Estates again.

We rented the farmhouse for a family wedding at Blair Castle. The house is spacious, well equipped and very warm and cosy. The decor is traditional, which matches the age and character of the house.we were very happy with this property
We had such a fantastic time staying here. The bed was amazing, the cooking facilities are fantastic, love the shower. The log burner was so nice to have and made it so homely. We could open the door and hear the stags bolving to each other which was amazing. The shepards hut is not like any Shepard’s hut I’ve been in, it’s open, spacious and homely all in one go. It’s great to be so out in the middle of nowhere, where you can step out of the door and be on the moor, but also be able hop in the car and be at a great pub or to the shops in 25 minutes. a band of 8 men had an exellent time there. fieldsports and golf were the main aim. But we were having a tremendous time visiting the ruins of old blair and even more the castle. We can highly recomment the location and we are not quite at home and we are planning how to come back again! Thanks a lot! Bernhard and his gang.
The cabin is located in a really lovely spot near Dunkeld. Nice of them to get the stag to greet me!
Very quiet place with an amazing view. A place for the soul. You can go hiking and watching sticks and other animals. You are lonely with yourself
The condition of the cottage generally good however the following points should be noted. Lack of seating in lounge area Settee that is there extremely low and difficult to sit in Very very uncomfortable we tried putting extra cushions under seats to prop up and a shame as it does not do justice to the general ambience of room why should I sit each evening having to prop myself up No instructions left on use of electrical items in house The bath and shower……the bath is marked and pitted not something I’d care to sit in Bath too deep with no grab rails even if I’d wanted to sit in it S...more
We stayed for one week, wonderful location, hot water was sometimes an issue and the drying room was not properly heated. Nevertheless we can't wait to return next year.
