This is for a stay over 2 holiday homes Vesta View (Sleeps 10) and Shepherds Retreat (Sleeps 4)

Vesta View, named after the Roman goddess of the hearth, home and family is a modern and luxurious spacious property offering spectacular panoramic views of open countryside.

Shepherds Retreat, situated on the foundations of Hadrian's Wall and set in wonderful open countryside provides a welcoming, warm and friendly place to stay.

Please Note - In Vesta View the two downstairs bedrooms can be either one super king double or two single beds (twin bedded configuration). The rooms cannot accommodate both bed configurations

Had our family reunion at this idyllic Vesta View and Shepherd's Retreat near Humshaugh. Location perfect surrounded by chickens, sheep, lambs and cows ...

The house was ideal and catered for my brother in a wheelchair. Beds so comfortable and the welcome hampers were so very welcome as we'd forgot the milk!

Did the sycamore gap trail - a bit late to see the tree. Went to Beamish museum, vindalanda , The Sill and the star gazing at Twice Brewed - meal in the pub, then a presentation on the universe , unfortunately didn't get to see the stars as it rained - but still worth it.

We had a family get together at Carraw Farm. Very clean, extremely well-equipped with everything you could need and in a fabulous setting. The house is situated within 15-mins drive of Hexham with a selection of bars and restaurants nearby.

Kevin and Leah were excellent hosts that were on-hand to help with anything we needed, but they equally left us to fully enjoy our stay. The beds were very comfy and we really enjoyed the personal touches provided, particularly the complimentary wine and the beautiful homemade cake on arrival in the fridge! We would highly recommend staying at Carraw Farm for a family stay in Northumberland.
