We arrived at Shawclough Barn a little travel weary (The M6 was a nightmare!) but on arrival we were greeted by the understanding owner and his delightful egg- bearing daughter who skipped the formalities to let us get in for a much needed cup of Yorkshire tea!
The Barn immediately made us feel at home. Tastefully furnished, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The fridge not only held a bottle of milk, for our much needed tea, but also a bottle of Prosecco - a lovely surprise!
