Through a stable door and straight into the lounge and dining room. This is the perfect escape for couples or a family. The cottage is in a quiet corner of a courtyard, next to a beautiful Camelia bush. Double glass doors lead from the living area to the enclosed private terrace with table and chairs, and garden at the rear, perfect for letting children and dogs run about in. Upstairs the cottage has a king sized bedroom, bathroom and twin room, which can also be turned into a super king on request. We welcome up to two small well behaved dogs.

Lizzie, Nathan & family are amazing hosts. My daughter loves feeding the animals with Lizzie & family when staying at Nethway, a great bonus of cottages.

The farm and cottages are picturesque. The cottages are cosy thanks to log fires and well equipped for family life - you won't need to pack those annoying extras, everything is thought of.

The play area for children is nicely done with activities for different age groups. And the swimming pool is great to have and especially at a lovely warm temperature so the little ones don't get cold after 10 mins and want to get out.

All in all, a great experience. Highly recommend!

This is our 3rd visit to Nethway Farm, our first in Lovage cottage and all was just as wonderful as our previous two visits. Our 4 year old particularly loved the animal feeding (big thank you to Lizzie for being so lovely with her) and the swimming pool. We enjoyed the peace and beautiful views. The cottage is beautifully equipped with all you need and a bbq (tools provided in the kitchen) with lovely patio and garden at the back is a real treat. Although the cottages were all occupied during our stay we never had noise from other guests or any trouble getting a swimming slot. It's a short distance to lots of lovely places to visit (if you can drag yourself and your children away from the farm) and we particularly enjoyed Dartmouth, Coleton Fishacre, Brixham breakwater beach and Totnes on this trip. We will certainly be back to this very special place.

From the moment we arrived, we were in love! The cottage and surrounding area is stunning, Lizzie was so friendly and showed us around and inside we found everything we could possibly need to make our stay child- friendly. There are lovely play areas for the children, the soft play was amazing for under 5’s and we loved the swimming pool and how you could book a slot each day for you and your family. There was so much to do both on the farm and in the local area, and I found Lizzie & Nathan’s online guidebook perfect for helping to get the most out of our stay! Thank you so much, we really had the best time!

We had a wonderful holiday at Nethway farm with our two young girls. The cottage was amazing, very clean and perfectly set up for a family. All the little extras were really appreciated. The girls loved visiting the animals and spent ages playing in the soft play area and the garden. The indoor pool was great and the views from the farm were stunning. We will definitely be back again! Thank you.

We had an outstanding short break at Nethway. The cottage was lovely, equipped to the highest standard and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The farm walk was delightful and for us included sightings of kingfishers. The barn owls hooting at night were also very exciting. We would love to return in the future.

Our third time back at Nethway and in school hols for the first time. We had a great time as always and still felt as quiet and laid back as during term time. Lizzie and Nathan are great hosts and always make our stay feel special (this time through allowing our youngest to sit in the big tractor - which will not be forgotten in a hurry!) as well as giving tips on the best activities/outings. Stayed in Lovage this time which was just as comfortable as the others we have stayed in and we loved the private garden space. I’m sure we will be back again soon

We are so happy we discovered Nethway farm and will be recommending a stay there to all our friends and family!! Lizzie, Nathan and the girls are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the farm, animals and the local area. They organised an Easter clue hunt round the farm which was so thoughtful. It is in an incredible location surrounded by fields but only a short drive (or a longer walk) to the coast. The pool on site is a bonus but the animal feeding was definitely a highlight. We loved that they had some prepared buckets of food for the animals ready so the children could feed when they wanted to. We also got to experience bottle feeding lambs. The cottage was very comfortable, warm with plenty of space and we enjoyed having a log fire on in the evening. We hope to come back one day. Thanks for a fantastic stay!!

We had such a wonderful week! Lizzie, Nathan and family have thought of absolutely everything to make a family holiday fun and comfortable. It was our first holiday with our one-year-old daughter so I was a little anxious on the way but felt immediately at ease when we arrived, and we settled in quickly to lovely Lovage Cottage. It was amazing being able to get up close to the farm animals and feed them, and to have fresh hen's eggs for breakfast. We loved the heated swimming pool and it was fantastic being able to have sole use of it as a family using the booked time slots. The farm is also a great base for loads of good walks and interesting things in Kingswear, Dartmouth, Brixham, Totnes and further afield so it was a packed week of adventures with a home-from-home cottage to come back to. Highly recommend it and look forward to coming back soon.

We had a great holiday at Nethway Farm. The weather was pretty terrible, but that made the swimming pool, games room, softplay etc all the more useful for keeping the kids occupied. A lovely location and wonderful hosts, we had everything we required catered to and feeding the animals was a daily highlight. We will definitely be looking to return, hopefully with better weather!

We had the most beautiful stay at Lovage. The farm has lots of animals all who were happy to be fussed and fed. The cottage was just right with a private garden and the comfiest beds! The pool was great and plenty of outdoor space to walk our two GSD's off lead. It is so child friendly for little ones and close to lots of places to visit. Internet wasn't the best(probably due to the idyllic location) which suited me perfectly but i think our 14yr would have liked faster. It did mean he was more engaged which was another bonus for me! All in all absolutely spot on for a battery recharge and just what the doc ordered! Lizzie and Nathan really helpful, Get it booked you wont be disappointed!

We had a brilliant week at Nethway farm. The cottage was very clean, had everything we needed and so much thought had been put into providing things for a stay with a child. The farm itself was such an amazing experience for our four year old who was in her element feeding the animals and collecting the eggs each day! The location of Nethway farm is perfect for accessing all that the area has to offer. Lizzie and Nathan were so friendly and helpful to us during our stay and our daughter made friends with one of theirs which made the stay all the more exciting!

Have just got back from a week at Nethway, stayed in Lovage cottage with our 2 year old and had a brilliant week! Swimming pool is fantastic (and very clean), soft play and outdoor play area were a hit with our little girl and she loved going to see and feed the animals nearly every day. The cottage itself was lovely, very clean and well equipped, with everything you need when you’re staying with a little person. The area is great, lots to see and do for families and we enjoyed days out in Brixham and Dartmouth (and lunch at Rockfish). Lizzie was very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back in the future.

We had a fabulous stay at Lovage Cottage (part of Nethway Farm Cottages). It was very well signposted, could get to supermarkets, beaches and towns easily and yet seemed in the middle of nowhere. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and the air, fresh. This was our first holiday since having a baby and the packing was made easier by he fact that high chair, changing mats, travel cots etc. Were all provided with no extra charge. Our baby loved the toys on offer and it was great to be able to book the pool out for a whole hour just for us. This meant we didn't have to worry about sharing with potentially older children having fun but maybe being a bit splashy around us. The pool was warm and extremely clean. Another great aspect were the farm animals. I loved feeding the goats and seeing the chickens and pigs every morning. They are tucked around a different part of the farm so if you don't like farm animals you wouldn't have to see them if you didnt want to. Restaurants in the area are delicious for seafood (as you'd expect). The whole holiday surpassed our expectations. A fabulous stay and we will definitely be back.

Lovely cottage. Beautiful setting. The pool was great, good to be able to book a slot, lots of availability. Excellent facilities in the cottage for little ones including toys, kitchen utensils, high chair. Our little girl loved the mud kitchen and feeding the animals. Overall a fantastic stay. We came from Canada with family to this beautiful place to celebrate a 60th birthday. The Cottage was beautifully decorated with anything you could think you might need and kindling and wood for the fire. The bedrooms are lovely and the bed the most comfy I have slept on! The kitchen is very well equipped and modern with perfect working appliances easy to use. It rained and rather than feel stuck indoors it was a pleasure to be in this perfect cozy cottage. The pool was easy to book and fabulous to swim in; temperature spot on! Nathan keeps a close eye on the comfort of that! The animals are such a fun addition, feeding them and watching the goats jump and play is pure entertainment.
There is plenty to do nearby and Lizzie and Nathan are great hosts with loads of ideas of what to see and where to eat. We took the passenger ferry (a must) from Brixham to Dartmouth and had a wander and then ate at Bayards Cove Inn at their suggestion. Amazing Sunday lunch for the birthday.
We had a wonderful time here and when we come back to the UK another stay at Nethway is planned to see more of Devon. This place is a gem that you have to return to.

Such an amazing week! Beautiful Cottage, beautiful farm and amenities and brilliant hosts. Our 3.5 year old loved the pool and the soft play and ride-on toys as well as the the toy basket in our cottage. Super comfortable cottage and our 3 month old was also catered for. We had a perfect stay at Nethway. Play area, soft play, ride ons, mud kitchen and swimming pool and the beautiful location were amazing and made for wonderful activities with 2 energetic children.
Our children fell in love with all the animals and enjoyed petting and feeding times!
The cottage was clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed (and more!!) - everything was set up to make our holiday as relaxing as possible. We loved the new addition of the gas bbq.
Lizzie and family are wonderful hosts.
We will be recommending Nethway to everyone and will certainly be back.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Nethway Farm, with our 3 year old and newborn baby.
The cottage was lovely, and it was a nice touch to be welcomed with eggs (from the farm) as well as locally produced juice and shortbread.
The farm is great, with beautiful planting around the cottages and lovely views through the valley.
The animals are well cared for. We loved spending time feeding and petting the animals daily, and the Pygmy goats were especially sweet!
The swimming pool, soft play, ride-on toys and outdoor play area meant that we always had something to do when not out exploring the area.
Lizzie and her family were so friendly and had lots of useful tips about the area (in addition to the app you can download containing everything you need to know about the cottage/farm/local area) and our daughter enjoyed meeting and playing with their youngest daughter.
We can’t fault anything about this holiday. We were sad to leave and expect we’ll be back again!

Lovely cottage matress a little hard but that’s everyone’s personal preference. Overall lovely perfect location. Loved the swimming pool and the system of booking it per family I have a child with special needs he enjoyed the pool and the animals

We stayed in Lovage cottage on Nethway farm for 7 days. The cottage was clean, comfy, well presented with a bit of a luxury feel and equipped with everything small children might need- highchair, bath mat, cot, bedrails, books, games, plastic crockery and cutlery, step, stairgates, the list goes on! The farm was beautiful and peaceful, never felt busy as only 5 cottages and plenty of space. Lots for children to do and in such beautiful surroundings. The pool was clean and the system to book slots and have the pool to ourselves was invaluable and meant our son (who has special needs) could really enjoy it with out other children around him. The animals were adorable and the children loved seeing them at feeding time! At the begining we had a few questions and Lizzie was very helpful, they were always friendly and chatty when we saw them. We would definately recommend it to others and would definately stay there again!

It's unusual for a place to meet expectations, let alone exceed them, but Nethway Farm certainly delivered! The cottage was comfortable and well-appointed with clear thought given to toddler-friendliness. The setting is sublime and facilities unrivalled; we enjoyed the pool and soft play almost daily, and feeding time on the farm was a definite favourite. Thank you to LIzzie, Nathan and family for welcoming us and hosting a fantastic week; we'll certainly be back!

Lovely place to stay. Comfortable and clean cottage and amenities. Loved the space for dog walking and having a few relaxing dips in the pool. The location was good too. Friendly and helpful owners too, thanks for everything would recommend especially to your families.

We had a lovely week staying in the Lovage Cottage. Excellent facilities. Very relaxing. Very clean and Well equipped cottage. Swimming Pool very clean and a warm temperature. Log burner was lovely with free logs supplied. Absolutely beautiful surroundings, views you could look at all day and not get bored. Amazing Hosts. We would definitely stay again.
