The Caravan was very clean and well kept, the owners were delightful, we had fresh courgettes and Chris kindly gave me some daffodil bulbs too, all from his stunning garden. We also saw some grass snakes, which the kiddies loved. The view is stunning! Within a very short walk to the beach you will find a super cafe, lovely coffee’s, pastry’s, pasties and trinkets! St Merryn is just a short drive away with a local food shop, cafes and more, or Constantine convenience stores which was stocked full of local produce. Lovely place, highly recommend. Thank you
Great place, good looking, fabulous facilities with an excellent pool with lots of available activities
This is our second stay at this property, and many things are excellent including location, general appointment of property and provision of all kitchen equipment etc It would however, be helpful to have a mirror in each bedroom, only ones are in the bathroom, likewise a hook on back of bathroom doors would be very useful and whilst towels are not provided it would be good to have bath mats and tea towels. These are the reasons I gave two 4s in my grading, otherwise it would be straight 5s! I am sure we will be back!
This was our first stay and visit to Crackington Haven as a family of three generations who love to get together for a week in Cornwall for the May half-term. We loved every moment of it. We found the house, its gardens and surroundings to be delightful and a fantastic space to have a memorable time together, whatever the weather. We especially enjoyed the way the house is so thoughtfully furnished with many personal items which made it so inviting and comfortable. We would be so happy to return again in the future!
Always a joy to revisit Treyarnon as my childhood haunt and this is one of the best places I have stayed in this area. Excellent location. Easy to walk to beach and facilities. Gorgeous view and the sunsets weee amazing. Apartment has everything you need and was very comfortable.
We have just spent 2 weeks at Boskenna, having stayed at the same house twice before, and it continues to be a fantastic base in which to explore and enjoy the rugged North coast of Cornwall and beyond. A beautiful, quiet position in a private road with a view that never ceases to inspire and amaze and perfectly located between Tintagel and Boscastle. The layout is largely open plan with plenty of room for 10 people to spend time together or find their own quiet space if necessary. Great service from all at Cornish Seaview Cottages and all the staff we were fortunate enough to meet at various ...more
We had a fab New Year at Primrose Cottage. The house is well equipped, so cosy and warm and a stones through from Treyarnon Bay. Perfect for dog walks also to Constantine and Porthcothan. It has a lovely cosy Aga which kept the house beautifully warm, an enclosed garden, so perfect for dogs and children to play and only a quick stroll to the beach. Perfect!
This was a lovely house for a party of 5 adults, 4 young kids and 1 giant dog. The kids loved the garden and the size of the house that they could explore freely. The house was really comfortable and enough room for all of us. The log fire was a great feature as the weather definitely called for it. We had never used an aga before, but it was easy enough to use and a source of warmth for the dining room. The rooms were comfy and i had no problems with the en suite in mine. We loved the location, which is about 30 minutes walk to the beach and within easy reach of Boscastle and Bude....more
There were mosquitos in the hall way which occurred over several days and may have not been noticed by the lady servicing the property
We recently stayed at the Beau Vista First Floor Apartment in Padstow and had a really enjoyable time. The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly the incredible views, the panoramic outlook over the Camel Estuary is simply stunning and adds something truly special to the stay. The apartment itself benefits from lots of natural light and offers a spacious, airy feel that’s perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the local area. The kitchen is particularly impressive, modern, well-equipped, and a great space for cooking or enjoying a relaxed breakfast. However, while the apar...more
Great location and lovely cottage . Perfect for two , four at a push but not sure for six . As a couple we will definitely return , missing the cottage already
Had lots of spider mites and webs on the ground floor and balcony was filled with wet leaves . It could have been cleaner.
Cannot fault the location and view, we were blessed with excellent weather to enjoy both. Apartment has quality furniture, perhaps a little tired in places but well cleaned and prepared for visit. Patio furniture needs new dining furniture and loungers as most other apartments now have to make the most of the outside space and view. Lovely to have milk, Cornish cream teas etc for arrival. Hope to return next year.
This is our second year staying at Westover Cottage and we loved it. This year the weather was not as nice as in previous years which is the ultimate test of holiday home - we found it cosy and relaxing and as soon as the weather allowed we were immediately able to get out and about enjoying what the Roseland Peninsula has to offer. We hope to be back again!
The view from the property is fabulous but sadly you have to walk up quite a steep hill to get to it, which was fine for us but not for the grandparents. The property is a little tired and could benefit from upgrading.
Excellent as it has been for the several years we have stayed. My only slight grumble was the Tradesmen bell was not repaired whilst we were there.A big thank you to Liz for enabling us to get back in we didn’t forget the key after that!!!!
We first stayed at Surfside over New Year 09/10 and were absolutely blown away by the property and the views. In the years since we've stayed there many times and this New Year we decided to return. Incredibly, all of the furniture, fixtures and fittings are exactly the same as they were 14 years ago, and that's not necessarily a good thing. The time we stayed prior to this, we had to call out the caretakers (who had to call out a local odd job man) as we had leaking pipes outside and no power in the kitchen. This year, within hours of being in the property, I had to contact them again as th...more
Recently stayed in this apartment over Christmas and New Year. Its in a lovely location - quiet enough for some good downtime, yet close enough to Penzance and Falmouth for shopping. There is a 10 minute walk through the grounds and adjoining field to the coast path and a great location for walks and fresh air. Would happily stay there again.
I'll start with some positives, the location and views were great, near a small shop and walk-able into town (down a steep hill), the parking was enough. The main shower was clean and powerful. However overall our stay at Bay View cottage in Port Isaac was disappointing due to the property's poor maintenance and lack of cleanliness. The cottage felt neglected, with a shabby and grubby atmosphere throughout. The 'For Sale' board was intrusive, as passersby could easily peer into the front bedrooms with their ill-fitting curtains. The bedrooms were musty and damp, needing airing upon arri...more
