We first visited Straloch 2 years ago and we loved it. This time around we've had the same wonderful experience. The location is so tranquil and our young kids love it here, with being able to play outside and explore the wonderful nature on the doorstep. We highly recommend ordering some food from Penny for the full experience. We can't wait to come back again next year and many more after that.
Straloch is one of the few places we have visited that genuinely deserves the title of hidden gem. It's perfectly sized, it's views are exquisite, and the loch itself is an extraordinary centrepiece to the ideal highland estate. Our hosts and the Stalker's Lodge were perfect, and every conceivable highland activity is easily arranged by the immensely hospitable, fun and welcoming hosts. We cannot recommend Straloch highly enough.
