Chisel Barn is in the Northerly part of the Dorset National Landscape sitting under Hambledon and Hod Hill, looking down onto the River Stour. There are three properties - Fox Ditch sleeps four, Whites Ground sleeps six and Top Cottage sleeps two. They are in a beautiful area with good walking and unspoilt countryside. Dogs very welcome.
We had a very good week in Top Cottage - thank you to the Sunnucks for providing such a comfortable cottage surrounded by fields. It all felt very new and spacious. Everything we needed was provided - the TV easy to use, as was the cooker and shower (so often difficult in holiday lets!). Lots of hot water. Thank you too for the welcome coffee, teabags, milk, spread, bread and eggs. If we were to add anything we might suggest a blind or curtain for the front door which looks straight in to the bathroom!! We hooked a blanket up for modesty in the evening.

Very much enjoyed our stay at White's Ground cotttage. Very spacious accommodation in beautiful Dorset countryside, yet not far away from main roads so easy to go to e.g. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door coast and Athelhampton House. Would recommend it to friends and family without hesitation. Thanks to friendly hostess Lucinda!
