Chisel Barn is in the Northerly part of the Dorset National Landscape sitting under Hambledon and Hod Hill, looking down onto the River Stour. There are three properties - Fox Ditch sleeps four, Whites Ground sleeps six and Top Cottage sleeps two. They are in a beautiful area with good walking and unspoilt countryside. Dogs very welcome.
Very comfortable and well provided for. With choice of two pubs a very gentle stroll away across fields, if peace and relaxing is what you fancy you certainly can here. We are returning later in June. Think that says it all.....
We had 2 of these cottages. This was the bigger one and we were able to eat together with others in fox ditch. Lucinda provided cots and high chairs. Washing machine not needed but handy. Dishwasher and everything required in kitchen. Rooms are spacious and great seating area. Views are stunning. Great parking and my brother was able to park his camper there and stay in with us. Good communication with Lucinda who was on hand to ensure we had everything we needed. Thank you for making this work for us.
This stay worked really well for us as we had whites ground next door as well. Lots of room, very clean and kitchen very well equipped. Bedrooms are large airy and very comfortable. Lucinda who owns them very helpful and responsive to my questions and on hand if needed. Couldn’t fault this stay. Has amazing views and great parking.
