Chisel Barn is in the Northerly part of the Dorset National Landscape sitting under Hambledon and Hod Hill, looking down onto the River Stour. There are three properties - Fox Ditch sleeps four, Whites Ground sleeps six and Top Cottage sleeps two. They are in a beautiful area with good walking and unspoilt countryside. Dogs very welcome.
Top Cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There was a small problem with the heating when we arrived but this was taken on board by the owners and dealt with very quickly. The kitchen is described as small but is perfectly workable for two people and provided with good quality equipment. Comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom, what more could you want?

Kind and accommodating owners who nevertheless didn’t interfere. The cottage was very spacious with good bathrooms and plenty of hot water. It took a day or so to get the bedroom temperature down to an acceptable level but other than that everything was very comfortable
