Stunning coastline within a short drive. Summer Lodge is stunning very high quality. The site was beautiful my only negative was the lady with the caravan infront who complained about our music being to loud. We are not disrespectful people and I was mortified by her attitude towards us.
What a beautiful lodge everything you can ever need is there, all the little extra touches are amazing. The hot tub is fabulous, so peaceful and relaxing, the dressing gowns and slippers are a lovely treat. The site is lovely with a nice woodland walk around the lake, we saw a Herron which the boys loved. Also the lodge is perfect to visit all along the Northumberland coast. I must say it was lovely to receive a welcome gift. We were a family of 6 so mixed ages and we all had a wonderful stay at “little fawn”.
I booked this as a last minute weekend getaway with my family and it was exactly what we needed. The lodge was clean, tidy and well presented with all regular commodities catered for. The location was private and relaxing which provided the perfect location to unwind and enjoy some time together as a family. I will certainly consider staying again in the future.
A lovely stay at caseys lodge in felmore park. Gorgeous place & fab location to explore Northumberland’s beaches, shops & outdoor sites. Great cabin, lovely and clean for our arrival. And a lovely touch from the owners with a free cake & prosecco for us to enjoy. Highly recommend.
Amazing property with superb views and lots of wildlife too Something for everyone walk on golf or chilling on veranda then hot tub . We would love to return when possible as very popular. Thanks to all Mrs TFerguson
We have recently returned from a four day break at Percy woods, we had a fabulous time with our grandchildren, the caravan was brilliant ! Very comfortable , the welcome pack very much appreciated, the kids loved the hot tub! The position of the caravan was great for exploring in the small wood behind us, we hope to use the same caravan in the future as not only was the caravan beautiful the area was brilliant , we all had a fabulous time.
Stunning lodge ideally situated at Percy Woods. The holiday park is immaculate, peaceful, family orientated. The team at Hemera Holidays are second to none, great service from start to finish Definitely 5*
Our 1st time at this property & it didn't disappoint. Absolutely a lovely a place with everything you need & more! The location is perfect a proper sun trap with lots of seating areas. The welcome pack was amazing felt totally spoilt, I can't fault Silver Birch & glad to say I am returning later in the year!
Just spent a very comfortable week in Keiths Kabin on Percy Wood estate. The Kabin was clean, light and airy and extremely well equipped....even had ice cubes in the freezer. The welcome pack was much appreciated!! Situated in a lovely quiet area near trees and duck ponds. Ideally placed for exploring both the coastal area and the national park. I'll definitely be returning.
This holiday home was very clean and spacious and the chocolates and prosecco on arrival was a very good surprise. Hot tub was well maintained and checked daily for chlorine levels. Totally enjoyed our week and will definitely book again.
Been here before , absolutely love it plenty to do for dog owners , ideal with it all been enclosed with fence and decking , always had great relaxing time could not recommend this place enough , the hot tub at 40'c was so relaxing i cannot wait to come back later in the year
We really enjoyed our stay it was perfect, it was dog friendly the site was nice and peaceful and the hot tub was so relaxing
Everyone was very friendly, It was very clean and comfortable,My little girl was never out the hot tub, We had 4 days of lovely sunshine and relaxing, we will definitely be going back
The cabin is amazing the location excellent and very clean beds and bedding towels everything spotless cant wait to go back the cabin as every thing you need
Lovely lodge. Very private. Good location to explore the north east coastline. Alnwick also worth a visit.
Park and accommodation are ideal for a peaceful break away. Just completed our second stay, looking forward to our next one.
Harley’s Hideaway was spotlessly clean and a fairly new caravan. The location in Springhouse Park was quiet and a fair distance from anything, set in the middle of the forest so it was very relaxing. The site had a small park and football pitch to keep my son entertained, a small shop and a restaurant open on some days for meals and drinks. The restaurant had a nice outdoor terrace to relax on. The caravan itself was comfortable and very clean and the hamper box provided was a lovely little touch to welcome us. We enjoyed relaxing on the decking outside overlooking the forest. The site is abou...more
Our stay was fabulous. Serenity lodge has everything you need and more. It's amazing! The hot tub was so relaxing, and the outside space is great. Perfect place to chill.
We stayed Monday to Friday and had a lovely relaxing stay very comfortable lodge with everything we needed for our stay. We have two dogs and we’re pleased to see that the veranda was enclosed so they we’re able to be outside without a lead on, I think you should mention this on the details as it is important to dog owners. We were also pleased to see the hot tub was fairly private as this also didn’t look like it on the details and pictures for the lodge. The site is well placed for visiting all the attractions Northumberland has to offer and there are dog walks on the site. We would definite...more
Feer View is well equipped, modern and spacious. Sited on a quiet park, perfect for relaxing. Hot tub area could definitely do with some privacy screening. Lots of work being done to the Park to improve and upgrade so be aware of some noise.
We had a great stay at the lodge for 3 nights. We were lucky to get decent weather in the evenings to use the hot tub, which was great. The lodge was super clean, comfortable beds and sofas. Both bedrooms are en suite, one with a bath tub and one with a shower. The kitchen had everything we needed and bath towels were provided. We only had to bring our own cooking essentials and toiletries. The lodge had WiFi which was a bonus as on air bnb it said that WiFi wasn't available. It was in a lovely, peaceful location and tourist attractions/ things to do were just a short drive away. We loved it. ...more
Both the wife and I loved this place, everything you need from a staycation, lots to do in the area.
This is the best time away I have had in a long time the saloon does lovely food with a friendly welcoming atmosphere and nice people who can ask for more. Had some issues that’s got resolved very quickly and already want to go back it was so relaxing and the hottie after a day site-seeing is a grate plus
Only knocked 1 point off for comfort because the quilts on the bed were 13.5 tog and far to hot for the middle of June. Everything about Forget me not lodge is lovely and I will be returning very soon.
Great standard of accommodation with plenty of room. Everything you could need, en suite bathroom, huge fridge with ice maker, recliner settee, dishwasher etc Lovely outside space with hot tub and great for travelling with a dog. Lots of dog friendly beaches and restaurants nearby and a great base for exploring Northumberland and its beautiful coast. Great place to get away from it all for a long weekend or a few days.
Lovely lodge, great location, everything that you need is already ln the lodge. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Great communication with the lodge owner. Booking process went smoothly with Hemera.
We had a wonderful and very relaxing break at Firtree lodge. The lodge has everything you need for an enjoyable stay, and is literally home from home. The owners were very helpful and were quick to reply to any queries we had. The pub/ restaurant on site serves good quality food (not like some other on site places). The lodge is modern, immaculately clean, very comfortable and had a luxurious feel about it, with the hot tub an added bonus. Would definite recommend to family and friends and would love to return.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wysteria Rise recently. The lodge we stayed in was lovely and clean and very nicely presented. We enjoyed using the hot tub which was really hot and well filled (we’ve been to other lodges that weren’t very nice). The area was full of lodges which we think were privately owned but it was so quiet and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. There are a lot of pubs and restaurants very close to Percy Woods and you’re only about 30-40 minutes drive from Amble, Rothbury and Berwick. The only thing I could be negative about is the state of the roads, t...more
We recently spent a week at Woody's Lodge, booked through Hamera Holidays. The company were excellent, providing clear and easy instructions and were very professional through out. The lodge was lovely, providing comfortable accommodation and the hot tub was great. It was serviced every day by friendly staff. The outside area was brilliant with 2 options for seating and dining. Being just off the A1 everywhere was easily accessible for days out to explore the wonderful attractions of Northumberland. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Lovely weekend away with family. Caravan was amazing, great attention to detail. The site was peaceful and provided lovely walks. Can’t wait to return again soon.
Just back from lovey stay in the new Sweethope caravan; clean, comfortable, lovely touch of a few gifts in the goodie basket (nice!). Hot tub was excellent being right on the deck, with the patio seating and great weather we had a blast. Second time staying at Percy Woods - it's quiet/remote, but kids enjoyed tennis/football court. Only thing I wasn't sure of was if we were allowed into the Golf Course Club House bar and if so how you gain access from the site (would be good to know for next time as we'll be back).
Lodge was fantastic, beautiful inside and out, jacuzzi was a bonus which we use morning and evening every day because we chose 1 of the hottest weekends. Everything was spotless couldn’t fault it at all, will be returning.
First Class. 5 star plus. Hot tub golf clubhouse bar perfect very near to beaches castles and harbours
Great stay & really lovely lodge. Really well equipped. There were 4 adults & 1 child & plenty of room. An additional chair for the table would have been welcomed as only 4 seats.
Lovely relaxing stay in what was a home away from home. Couldn’t have asked for better. Will be back.
Everything was perfect loved the layout, loved location , deer, woodpeckers, bull finches all around us .
Swallow Lodge is beautiful. Set in the middle of the countryside with breath taking views. Swallow lodge is situated in between Bedale and Masham. We visited the Buck Inn which was in our village. The beer garden is so peaceful and pretty. Their ice cream is a must! Swallow Lodge is very spacious and immaculately cleaned. The garden was perfect for our dogs. The only thing we were slightly disappointed in was the patio set. For such a high standard lodge we think this could be upgraded. It only had 3 chairs too and there was 5 of us. The upstairs balcony of the main bedroom could benef...more
We had a 4 night stay in Cedar Lodge, the lodge was immaculately clean and very spacious. It was well equipped with everything we needed, including a welcome pack with some chocolate, wine and cleaning products. This was appreciated and a nice touch. The hot tub was great, private with a great view and it was also checked everyday. The only negative was having to drive to get to everything, it would have been nice to have a wee pub on-site, however that was my own fault for not checking this beforehand. Hemera Holidays are also very easy to book with, they’re in touch regularly and are a...more
We stayed at the end of June, the lodge was equipped with everything you need. We had a baby with us and there was a highchair and travel cot. The hot tub was excellent. We had the sun all day in the decking area. The second bedroom was a good size with decent beds stayed in a few others in this site and they are not as comfortable as this one. Lovley stay would definitely return.
Would highly recommend staying at Sunflower Retreat. Spotless kept at a very high standard and everything you need home from home.
I have just returned from a 5 night stay and it was fabulous. Ramblers Rest is a real home from home. Its spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The hot tub is fabulous after a day walking with the dog. It's well located within Felmoor Park which is a lovely site. 100% will be coming back..
Thank you for a fabulous weekend in Hollies retreat, we had such a lovely time. the lodge was so nice, hot tub was so relaxing after walking all day. its not the first time we have booked through Hemera Holidays and already we are planning our next stay with them, Fellmoor park is a lovely site, it has a bar/restaurant we did not use but found the staff very friendly and they do sunday lunch. Felmoor park is on the A1 near Felton, great for exploring our beautiful Northumberland coast, we visited Warkworth, Alnmouth & Amble 3 fabulous places to see.
Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable with nice touches. However it was not very well equipped. There were no tumblers and only 2 tall tumblers. There’s loads of cupboard space but most are empty! Also map of the site would have been helpful as l had to go looking for the bins and it’s quite a walk back up towards the entrance when carrying rubbish. A little footpath map would also have been useful. A summary of local places to eat, and places to visit would have been a nice addition.
Fantastic and plush accommodation, really clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Perfect position with privacy. Hot tub excellent
We booked up for a 3 night weekend stay. We did enjoy our break but a few things really let the place down. The lodge isn’t really a lodge it’s more like a static caravan with wood effect cladding on to give the look of a lodge. The decking is brilliant for if you’re taking a dog with you, it really big and wraps right the way around the front and side of the lodge and is totally enclosed so they can wonder and you’re content they’re safe. The hot tub is always a nice feature to have, me and my daughter love spending time in the hot tub and it did get used quite a lot however it was extremel...more
Arrived at the property on the Friday and realised there was no running water, but this was easily sorted by phoning the site manager. On arrival the Hot tub wasn't hot, but this ok as it was 25C outside. There was a couple of minor issues within the cabin the bracket off the wardrobe door was popped off, couple of marks on the couch and carpet, but I did not need to complain as it did not affect my holiday wear and tear happens over the years. On the Monday we had no water until 3oclock that day as its change over day and all the hot tubs get filled, which meant we couldn't go for showers u...more
A very pleasant stay in lovely comfortable lodge , the only downside was our bedroom which is at the end of lodge and close to busy and noisy A1(maybe supply ear plugs?) Hot tub fantastic.Site fantastic ,very clean and quiet in a great location. Could also do with oven gloves in lodge.
A great place. The lodge does need some work done to it such as the decking is very tired looking, the banister on the stairs was loose and the decking by the hot tub was bending maybe rotten because of the water. The pillows could do with being replaced or more pillows. The sofas had water marks on them and curtains had stains on them too. The place just needs some tlc. Apart from the small issues, we had a great time, relaxing together as a family without any worries of covid and other people surrounding us. We have asked to book again next year, same place. So we did enjoy it
We stayed 12/07 and there were no street vans or places on site to eat, needed to venture out to eat. Not much on site for kids to do. The lodge was clean and tidy but a few issues with drawer handles off or falling off. Double bed was comfy but the 2 single beds you could feel the springs on the mattress, could be sorted with mattress toppers. The garden where the hot tub was, was overgrown and could have been tidied / cut back to make the garden nicer when sitting out on the porch
Lovely log cabin in a very quiet peaceful location, fantastic hot tub. Gillian was excellent organising our trip including all the best places to visit.
The caravan was very dirty and had a strong smell of dogs. We raised this issue but apparently it was not even fed back through the appropriate channels. The blinds and all surfaces were dusty, the kitchen cupboards had sticky white substances all in the handles and there were old Christmas decorations in the wardrobes and bits of paper just left around the kitchen.
Everything was amazing however there was dust all over the tv stand and obviously hadn’t been cleaned. Hot tub was amazing however I feel everyone driving past could see us and all other caravans had the hidden by the fence. I feel the fence needed to be taken round to the step of the caravan so it was private Apart from that the location was perfect, the caravan was great no problems at all I feel the time to leave should be later maybe lunchtime because we had to have everything out by 10 we left late the night before so we didn’t have to be up really early to be out and stop all the bed...more
Was very pleased with the location, 10 minute walk to town. Property ideal for a large family but could do with a few upgrades and a bit of work. The bathrooms are in desperate need of being re done, showers were awful- boiling hot one second then freezing another as well as a foisty smell in them all (suspect this is due to old drains)The kitchen is in desperate need of a deep clean and could do with a new dishwasher and washing machine. We also found that there was very little room to store food in cupboards therefore, it was left on the worktop however, this wasn’t ideal with the hot weathe...more
