This holiday home was very clean and spacious and the chocolates and prosecco on arrival was a very good surprise. Hot tub was well maintained and checked daily for chlorine levels. Totally enjoyed our week and will definitely book again.
We were extremely impressed with Torgorm Cottage No. 3. A beautifully furnished and well equipped cottage in a quiet, peaceful location with fantastic views. The cottage was cleaned to a very high standard, spacious and made for a perfect stay. The enclosed garden was well presented and perfect for our small dog Molly to explore. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage for those looking for a relaxing and peaceful break and the location made it easy to venture out and explore the beautiful Highlands.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, same caravan, always spotless, owners are lovely and very professional and friendly, we had a hot tub with ours which is a bonus , always have a gift of wine, biscuits ect which is a lovely touch, we would highly recommend this site and caravan, beautiful place, quiet and very relaxing, love it here
Only thing I think that is lacking is a vegetable peeler ! Otherwise the place is perfect. Lovely pub 4m away the Granby Arms where the food is fabulous. The club house is a 10min walk through the golf course and Deer can be seen . Fairway View is tucked away in a corner plot very quiet and relaxing.
Our 1st time at this property & it didn't disappoint. Absolutely a lovely a place with everything you need & more! The location is perfect a proper sun trap with lots of seating areas. The welcome pack was amazing felt totally spoilt, I can't fault Silver Birch & glad to say I am returning later in the year!
We have recently returned from a four day break at Percy woods, we had a fabulous time with our grandchildren, the caravan was brilliant ! Very comfortable , the welcome pack very much appreciated, the kids loved the hot tub! The position of the caravan was great for exploring in the small wood behind us, we hope to use the same caravan in the future as not only was the caravan beautiful the area was brilliant , we all had a fabulous time.
Ideal location, excellent facilities in the lodge itself with everything thought of for every detail.
Beautiful lodge in a beautiful area. Lodge was very comfortable and clean. A home from home. Would highly recommend!
Fabulous caravan and site. Ideally located to explore this wonderful area of Northumberland. Caravan has all you need for a relaxing break.
Due to go in June 2021 for my 60th birthday but had to cancel and reschedule. The staff were really understanding and advised we could re book for later date in the next 12months. We then went in September! Loved it, had a lovely time. The park was lovely, will definitely book to go again soon
caravan was cleaned to a very high standard. All electrical goods and heating worked really well and TV had freeview and Netflix app. Little things like condiments, coffee and cleaning products, hand-wash and towels were much appreciated. Beds are soft but comfortable and we slept well. Hot tub was fantastic. Hemera staff were always friendly, efficient and helpful and we received helpful recommendations for restaurants on request..A burger, coffee and sweet van was on site until 6pm. Top tip, take food and milk as even the local shops 5 miles away closed at 6pm. Having some long life milk in...more
Had a great time with my family, this has been my 5th time at the park it has everything u need in the lodge and will defo be returning thanks again Ps we had a prob will eletric and phone Tracy and we had it sorted straight away
Firtree is perfect. Quiet position has everything you need. Hot tub great. Can recommend food at C H.
Deer View is a beautiful caravan, very well equipped with everything you need. Some lovely extra touches too. It's situated in a very quiet spot. The hot tub is a huge bonus and we made very good use of it.
Stayed at the lavender lodge from Monday the 11th of October till the 15th with my daughter and two grandchildren we had a great time the lodge was amazing it was like home from home and great value for money definitely would use again the hot tub makes it just so relaxing and Wendy was always at the other end of the phone if you needed help with anything
Beautiful lodge …. All needs catered for Beds soooo comfy and bedding amazing Hot tub was lovely ..
The lodge was everything and more , clean, modern, well equipped and most importantly dog friendly x The hot tub was a delight and checked daily which was reassuring, the little extras like the complimentary prosecco and chocolates was a nice touch and much appreciated as were the provision of bathrobes for when you leave the hot tub x We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back and .thank you Hemera for your good customer service.
Lovely lodge, great condition, excellent facilities..couple of tweaks to make it perfect would be to screen off the hot tub like others have done for a bit more privacy and add some gates to the veranda would be helpful for a dog/young child.
Booked this for my parents and 2 dogs. Great accommodation and very clean. Hot tub amazing. Very dog friendly with enclosed terrace and welcome gift much appreciated. Easy to book via hemara and Carolyn ( owner) very helpful. Being dog friendly wound have been helpful to have some sort of hoover to keep it clean We will return
We really enjoyed our stay at Herdwick Lodge. The Lodge was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The Hot Tub was ready for us on arrival. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the lodge to family and friends. 5*
Nice clean lodge good location for Northumberland coast on site burger van which was open till 6 if you didn’t fancy cooking as there are no near by takeaways
The mobile home was beautiful & clean & was like new. It had a nice hot tub outside & was set in a quiet & beautiful location.
Wysteria Rise and Percy Wood was absolutely outstanding. Lovely touch with prosecco and goodies on arrival. Good base for sightseeing but the park itself was clean and peaceful. We would definitely recommend and will return. The only suggestion I would make is maybe an umbrella / canopy for the hot tub to use when the weather isn't great but apart from that out break was outstanding. Short walk also to Bari Bar. Fab prices and very friendly.
Only knocked 1 point off for comfort because the quilts on the bed were 13.5 tog and far to hot for the middle of June. Everything about Forget me not lodge is lovely and I will be returning very soon.
My family and I stayed at the Bamburgh log cabin in our October break…it was love at first sight! Idyllic, tranquil, rustic and cosy. Sat at the corner of the lake looking over to the wildlife and on a lovely little walk round the lake that our 2 Border Terriers enjoyed several times a day. We sat sipping wine on the terrace and introduced our daughter to dominoes! Hot tub was positioned perfectly to enjoy the sunsets. Everything was provided for us, we’d brought loads but didn’t need a lot of it. We had a shop delivered on arrival and shut ourselves away from our busy lives for a few days. We...more
Double bed in en suite room was uncomfortable. Other than than, hard to fault the place. Second time we’ve been, will book again. Thank you!
Just returned from a short break with the Grand children. Our first visit to the North East. A fabulous time had by all. The caravan was lovely. The living area is spacious, bedrooms a bit wee but did the job. Our Granddaughter described the bed as springs with a sheet on but for 3 nights it was fine. Hot tub was lovely. Good value. We will be back.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The lodge was so much nicer than we were expecting, and felt like a home away from home! Our only small problem was that the toaster knocked all the power off and we weren’t sure how to get it back on! We were left a number to call if we needed anything on our stay but when we called the lady said it was her day off. She told us how to turn it back on but not sure why we were given a number of someone that wasn’t actually working! Other than that the stay was perfect! We will definitely be coming back!
Lodge was very spacious, well equipped and cleaned to a very high standard. Having a bath was great for little one. We loved the hot tub. Beds very comfy and plenty of towels. Lovely quiet position on the site overlooking lake. Great location for spending time exploring the Northumberland coast and local castles. Lovely walks for dog. Booking Company highly efficient keeping you well informed through email - will definitely be booking again. Thank you
Great lodge. Spacious living area. Gorgeous views across the golf course, and in an elevated position so great sky line views. We love Percy Woods.
We had a lovely weekend stay at Hillside lodge. The lodge is spacious, spotlessly clean and the owners really go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The welcome gift were lovely and added to the luxury feel of the lodge. The kitchen is very well equipped and both that and the utility room stocked with everything you could possible need. There is plenty of storage space for your belongings and both bathrooms are excellent. The decking is fully enclosed for pets and set in a very quiet part of the park overlooking the golf course with the hot tub feeling very private. The hot tub itsel...more
Having stayed in the lodge last year we knew what to expect. The lodge is very comfortable inside and the hot tub is an added bonus and very welcome. Couple of minor issues which were addressed immediately. Lovely kind gesture of welcome treats. Lodge is perfectly situated on the park, in a quieter area and near to the lake. Outdoor area/decking needs some TLC but understand that a recent change of owner who probably hasn't had the time! A suggestion for the future perhaps. Most definitely worth a visit.
Sunflower Retreat has all you require to have an enjoyable break. it is on a good plot on the site with an fenced hot tube. hot been the operative word as it was never less than 40 degree C. It has a large American fridge/freezer, microwave and full size gas oven if you wish to cook. The site is quiet with very few onsite facilities ie bar and cafe all though you can walk through the golf course to their bar so its best to bring some supplies with you milk bread etc The accommodation provides a temperamental blue tooth speaker system which when paired to a phone is very good. The large TV p...more
I have stayed on three different sites in the region but I have to say for me personally this was my favourite. The lodge was was lovely, very cosey, clean and very comfortable. The walks from this site were amazing, walking through the woods and around the trails. There is also a golf course which is fantastic. The location suits perfect to get to anywhere. Highly recommended. I booked this at short notice and Wendy and her team were brilliant looking after and always are.
We were the organisers of a group of 11 friends. Others stayed elsewhere on the site. We had the best accommodation by far. It is truly luxurious. The best lodge accommodation we’ve ever been to. Exceptionally spacious and well maintained. Lovely view over the golf course and Northumberland. Would totally recommend.
Everything was in good condition, only complaint was that both toilet seats need replacing as they didn't fit and constantly moved.
The lodge was homely , clean , comfortable, spacious and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The hot tub was perfect , just what we needed for a relaxing break.
Spent 11 nights at this beautiful caravan. The owner has certainly made it home from home, everything you need is there. Wonderful welcome hamper on arrival, chocolate, biscuits, crisps & Prosecco, very nice touch from the owner.Hot tub checked every day. Highly recommend and definitely would return.
Excellent lodge, quiet location next to duck pond, very clean and cosy. Hot tub private and spacious. Would stay again. Only small annoyance was fire alarm very sensitive, goes off evreytime you cook, even if just using kettle, oven or toaster!
The Wee one log cabin was ideal for 2 people, spacious and had everything we needed. Amazing value for money compared to other places in Scotland. Will definitely be recommend to others for future use.
Our stay coincided with lovely weather so hot tub was a hit. Having 2 bathrooms was also a boost. Very nice.
Great lodge everything you possibly need only slight niggle is that the sofa was slightly uncomfortable and if it sleeps x5 people there is only seating for x4 people around the table but overall great lodge
Overall enjoyed our stay however the property is a bit tired , locks on door are dodgy ,the oven was out of order and Jack’s place is literally 50 yards off the A1 so there is background noise, 1 bathroom for a 6 berth isn’t practical, the site was overrun with wasps and daily rubbish visits to the bins was challenging.
Overall we had a excellent long weekend and catch up at Sky’s Vue Lodge… Perfect for couples, families and groups
Casey's Lodge is situated on a lovely, quite, well kept holiday park in Morpeth. The lodge was ready for us on time and to welcome us was a bottle of Prosecco and a cake left in the well equipped kitchen. The lodge was very clean and well presented with a nice size lounge, two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower cubicle. Everything was in excellent condition and our stay was very comfortable and cosy. Outside the lodge was a fenced decking (which was safe for our dog to wonder around safely) and a lovely hot tub which we used every day. This was maintained daily. Overall our stay was e...more
We stayed in New Cottingburn House 11th to `5th Oct.We received a call on Mon morning to advise that the boiler had broken and couldn't be repaired for a few days.We were given the option to cancel but decided to go ahead. There was a large blown air heater and a portable radiator in the house and a lovely gas fire in the lounge. The house was very warm with these heaters and there were two electric showers. The only minor inconvenience was hot water first thing in the morning. The dishwasher had broken the weekend before we arrived but was replaced before we arrived so no hot water required f...more
We loved the lodge & hot tub! Very comfortable and warm. Plenty of living space to relax in. We had a well earned peaceful weekend. Thank you Wendy! X
The caravan is in a lovely location, very large site with easy access to the woodlands, the village is a short walk and has a lovely park and cafe. Upon arrival there was a welcome gift which was a very nice touch, however the caravan didn’t smell particularly clean, and some of the bedding had hairs on. The tv had handprints and the bathrooms had dusty radiators, we stayed for 3 nights the positives were the double bed was very comfy, it was warm and cozy, and the hot tub was a great added extra, this was very clean. We enjoyed our stay but feel cleaning standards need improving. Thanks
When we 1st arrived I said to my partner where’s the hot tub? It was in a separate area the website photos was confusing we thought it was situated on the caravan not ideal as I had my dog. I never spent as much time in it as I wanted as my dog kept barking in the caravan upsetting other party’s, so that was a waste of money, any way we thought we would just deal with it and raise a complaint when we got back, the caravan was beautiful with home comforts but the cleanliness let it down I had to clean the table on decking area when I got there, the dishes all needed washed before I used them al...more
