This is my second time staying in Villa Medusa and both stays have been great. The Villa is in a great location in Protaras, and is local to plenty of beaches, restaurants, breakfast spots and a Zorbas (key information).

The Villa itself is a great size with 3 double bedrooms with 2 nice size bathrooms (1 Ensuite) upstairs. There is a great pool with no overlooking windows (without frosting) which helps to feel like you're in a very private and relaxed space. The garden maintenance is good with the trees and bushes kept nice to give the villa some colour.

The Villa is generally well cleaned, except for windows and window sill surfaces which seem to be forgotten behind the blinds. The condition of the blinds themselves are not great, with food stains and plenty of scuffs all over bringing down the quality feel of the Villa which is unfortunate. The condition of some of the furniture is poor with some of the bed panel coverings falling apart, and the mirror in the middle bedroom being dropped and smashed, and left in the wardrobe, leaving a usable mirror in 1 of the 3 bedrooms. With the dining table having been cut through with knives from a previous user as well, the furniture throughout is starting to feel a bit over-used and dated and could do with renewing to help keep the villa feeling fresh and luxurious.

Overall with location, value for money and general experience, I would maintain a 4/5 rating for the stay!

We encountered a large problem with an ant infestation. They were everywhere around the house, especially in the beds and closests. Apart from that, we suggest incorporating an additional blanket for the beds as the one provided is too thick and not suitable for climate in September. We also suggest equipping the kitchen with more cups, glassware, dishes and cutlery.
Otherwise, the house is comfortable, spacious and in a very safe and pleasant neighbourhood. This house is for recommendation if the ant infestation issue is resolved.

Overall, it's okay. The inside could use a refresh. The blinds are dirty, and the interior doors need painting.

A unique place, a very spacious living room with a kitchen having everything you need, a large table and huge windows overlooking the pool. The pool was clean and the size was really nice.

The villa is beautiful and very well located. Everything is easily accessible by car.
The villa itself is nicely furnished.

Unfortunately, I feel that the price-performance ratio is not right. When we arrived, there was still trash in the bathroom bin. The whole villa had only been superficially cleaned – the corners of the kitchen were black. There were ants all over the lower level. The oven and dishwasher were dirty.

Outside, the sun loungers are quite old, and the sunshade is falling apart.
The pool cleaning was also lacking. Our daughter accidentally poured a bit of sand into the pool at the beginning of the holiday, and it was still there at the end. The pool guy was never there for more than five minutes.

The customer service of the villa was great – there was always someone available for questions, and everything went smoothly.

The villa is lovely, but at this price, I wouldn’t book it again. We had to make too many compromises.

It has been an amazing experience and we really enjoyed our stay. Customer service was beyond expectations. They regularly checked in with us to confirm that everything is OK and to provide anything else we might needed. We found the comfort we were looking for and all the facilities (beds, swimming pool etc.) at the villa exceeded our expectation. We left happy and relaxed.
