We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boconnoc House. We received a very warm welcome from Louise who took plenty of time to show us around the magnificent house. Oxanna was also there adding the finishing touches which made our arrival feel very special. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the 1st floor rooms being extremely spacious. The 2nd floor bedrooms are a little snug with sloping roofs and the bathroom arrangements for the love room require 4 people to share access through one room. A relaxing and enjoyable few days in wonderful surroundings. Everyone in our party loved the house and facilities on the estate.
We stayed,recently ,in Dairy House,Boconnoc for the second time.Everything was thought about and it was comfy,warm and things like logs.kitchen towel,loo roll,fluffy towels and much much more were thought about and provided.There were fresh flowers,lovely local milk,home made biscuits,tea ,coffee and sugar.There were even dog chews,poo bags and a water bowl for my dog. This was our third stay at Boconnoc and our second time in the Groom's House. It was just as we remembered it. A well-equipped home from home, spotlessly clean, and with incredible views from the lounge. A very peaceful location. And we enjoyed seeing the lambs in the field.
Three nights in the Head Groom’s cottage was very comfortable in a character venue. Loved the decor and the wood fire. Having a full well appointed kitchen was a bonus. The location gave easy access to the north west coast, Tintagel, and the South coast, Mevigissey. The highlight of the stay for me was walking on the estate. I would have loved to have a horse to explore with further. A 4 for customer service reflects the staff being busy welcoming a large group for the same weekend. Everyone was very welcoming.
