Kite is set in a beautiful location! incredibly comfy beds which made a perfect night sleep! all the equipment you need and more for your luxury "camping" holiday. Kite was set in the orchard which was very private, even if we were siting outside having dinner and our little one was playing outside we felt very safe and private! Lots of things to also do in Rutland water which is only 10 minute drive, plus driving up to the site there was garden center and farm shops which was a lovely to pop in to have a wonder! Will definitely come back! 100% recommend!
This is 3rd time we have stayed at Exton park & it is a lovely site. Hambleton Bakery is well worth a visit. The safari tent is well equipped & has all you need. We also love Bleasdale. We will be back.
The safari tents were even better than the photos! Really clean, cosy and well equipped. Jono was really helpful and there was loads to do in the surrounding area.
Another wonderful weekend enjoyed by all the family. The Sweffling site is in an amazing central location, this allowed us to explore all that Suffolk has to offer, from stepping back in time at Framlingham Castle to enjoying Fish and Chips on the beach at Aldeburgh. We were blessed with good weather over the weekend which resulted in some beautiful sun rises and sunsets! Such a wonderful weekend at Exton Park. June was super helpful on arrival and if we had any issues during our stay. The tents are so well equipped and the beds are unbelievably comfortable. The site is very well kept with lots of things in the honestly shop, and it was great to have the sun shining for our weekend. We will be back for sure.
We had a wonderful 3 night break. Lovely open site with so much space. Everything was thought out. Having a private shower room was wonderful as all damp stuff was kept out of our tent. We love to have a fire when we can and consider it part of the joy of camping so the provision of a fire pit and supply of wood kindling fire lighters and even matches was a wonderful touch. I can highly recommend this site for families. The local pub The Ostrich Inn is walkable to and serves really good food.
There was a lovely atmosphere and everything exceeded our expectations! The tent was well equipped and clean. Charles was friendly and helpful.
We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. The location is amazing, so peaceful and quiet and you really feel like you are getting away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The hut was very well appointed with everything we needed, and the outside bath and kitchen were nice touches that enabled us to stay outside as much as possible. We enjoyed cooking the contents of the BBQ Retreat Box that was waiting for us when we arrived on the fire pit. We will definitely return.
We loved our stay. Everything was spot on. My husband (a former camping refusenik) was in heaven with the woodburning stove and the fire pit. The safari tent was amazing and the beds were so comfy. The children recovered from the horror of having no electricity to charge their phones and got back to nature. The dog enjoyed her first holiday. And we loved hearing owls at night, seeing a seal in the sea at Dunwich and lying on our backs in the field watching the stars. Thoroughly recommended.
We stayed for 2 nights and I wish it could have been more. The accommodation was perfect, comfortable and clean with everything you need whilst still feeling tucked away from the real world and in nature. Owners couldn’t have done more for you and compared to other similar stays this was exceptional value for money. Would love to go back.
Myself and husband love staying here, will make it a yearly visit. Lovely walks to pub. Yurt is lovely tidy and clean.
We were super impressed with the campsite. The tents were huge and well kitted out. The beds were heavenly, they were extremely comfortable and warm which was great during the colder nights. We cooked over the fire pit outside which we would really recommend doing, it really completes the whole experience. It's a fantastic area outside to cook and eat, and for kids to play. We look forward to going back again at some point in the future :)
I can honestly say it was one of the best 1 night getaways we ever stayed at! Firstly, the owner was so very accommodating, friendly and nothing was too much bother. We was greeted on our way down the road to point us where to go, which was above and beyond! Then when we needed extra wood etc there was no delay, so amazing service. Then the carriage!!!! Just absolutely beautiful, rustic feel, very very clean and cozy. Outside area was so cute. To be honest there was no TV and no WiFi which we thought was amazing as we had much needed quality time with no distractions from our busy lifes...more
Myself, husband and 3 children (aged 7, 12 and 16) loved staying here and looking to come back in the near future! The hot tub was a huge hit and even though the weather was typical British autumn weather we spent most of our time sitting outside playing board games and spending some quality family time together. There are close by amenities within walking distance along the canal.
Well what can I say 10 out 10 Amazing ticked all our boxes and can’t wait to go back with my family .
We probably didn’t pick the right time in the year to go Glamping but the tent was very nice and cosy. Charles, the owner was helpful with navigation and brought us more wood as well. Could recommend more!
This is one of nicest places I’ve ever stayed the hosts was amazing and so friendly and caring and kind. They Even gave us some fresh eggs as we left from the chickens. It’s a truly gorgeous place please book as you won’t be disappointed it’s so quiet and peaceful and claiming. So so clean and tidy!! Getting booking guys you wouldn’t be disappointed
Great stay in 2 of the Glamping tents. Very comfortable and everything was provided. Jono was a brilliant host and explained all we needed to know. Was on hand should we have needed him. Accommodation was very well stocked and to a very high spec. Thoroughly enjoyed and impressed.
We took a family of four to stay - amazing setting, beautiful views. The pod was big enough for us, and plenty of space for children to play outside. Plenty of things to do nearby (Pickering area) or a longer drive to the coast for Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay etc. and the Wold way on the doorstep.
Beautiful, peaceful location. Perfect for visiting Glastonbury and surrounding areas. The quality and thoughtfulness which has gone in to creating these glamping tents is incredible!! Absolutely everything you could possibly need. Luxurious bedding and towels and even electric blankets on the beds! Jono, the host, was so welcoming and helpful. Just would've been nice to stay for a bit longer but will definitely be returning to this lovely site.
It was a lovely unusual place to have a great break away from the business of life where we could relax and just have some time for the two of us. Totally recommend it
Wow! Such an amazing tent! We had a mini stay in October half term, 2 adults and 4 pre-teens! We loved the wood burner and we were lovely and cosy for evening of board games and s’mores! Was so nice to have them all offline!! We definitely had everything we needed and enough space for everyone. We spent the days visiting the beautiful beaches of Norfolk. I would definitely recommend staying in this tent.
We had an amazing experience in the heart of Ribble Valley. We stayed for a couple nights with our 1 year old and the tent had plenty of space to move about in. Definitely pack for cold nights even in the summer as it's close to a river. We woke up to the sound of sheep, birds and cows each morning. Beautiful part of the country, nearest good shop and pub is 15 mins drive. A must is lunch at Inn at Whitewell.
Perfect location for a secluded relaxing weekend, pods were extremely comfortable and homely with all the amenities and more. Paula and her daughter were very very welcoming and accommodating. Not a single thing to fault and we will definitely return at a later date.
There was 4 of us staying at the yurt and we was pleasantly surprised. The yurt is lovely and the welcoming basket filled with treats was a lovely gesture from the owners. We ventured out to a nearby pub which was only a 6 min drive and the food was lovely. Weather was lovely so we made the most of the outdoor space and hot tub at the yurt. The yurt looks small from the outside but inside is so spacious and we was all very comfortable. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely weekend break :-)
Beautiful place great location only things is the sofa bed was really small and uncomfortable and could do with a bigger size mirror in bathroom but apart from that really nice place to stay
We had a fabulous time in Curlew. The tent is spacious yet cosy and very comfortable with everything you could need provided. Rachel was really friendly and helpful with check in, thank you! The location was lovely and peaceful for a relaxing family weekend. We’ll definitely return!
The tent is on a beautiful site, very peaceful, surrounded by woodland for walks. There are 6 tents I think, but all very well spaced out and you couldn't hear each other at all. There is a pond at the bottom of the garden, which is fenced off, but still has a steep drop, so keep an eye on smalls heading down there. The tent itself had a great fire pit, a picnic table (very handy), enough patio furniture for lots of people, and very comfy beds with lovely white bedding, and lots of fluffy blankets. This is a beautiful setting for a break away in the countryside. A really novel place to stay that's a bit different but has everything you need. It does help when the sun shines so you can enjoy the deck, the views and sunsets. Very helpful owners and lovely to be able to walk around their farm, especially to visit the two black pigs!
We have come as a group for 3 years now - gorgeous setting, comfortable accommodation (definitely Glamping) and very relaxing
The property, hottub and secluded location were amazing, kids (and adults) had a lot of fun. Managers were friendly and helpful. Even though it rained most of our stay, the place remained warm and comfortable. The owners had put a lot of thought into the appliances and utiensils for a truly glamping experience.
Had a fabulous time, hot tub was good fun to get lit and warm up. Nice a quiet surroundings, tree laser was great to watch when chilling out. Bed was a little hard but that’s personal choice as others might like it that hard.
Beautiful shepards hut , spacious clean and Luxurious . Outside Bath was a real treat. Spa area looked so nice ,would definitely use if i stayed again .
Lovely relaxing 2 night stay, comfortable and cosy. Outside bath was a lovely touch. Had a slight issue with the hot water but got resolved quickly. Track road to the location quite uneven but did not affect our stay. Would definitely come back.
We loved the glamping experience and enjoyed the peaceful setting at Black Pig Retreats. The safari tent was well equipped to a high standard, with attention paid to detail. The hosts were friendly and helpful. As a family of 6 it was a little more cramped in terms of the 'kitchen' area for cooking and the fridge space was very small. Additionally, there were only 4 chairs at the table inside, but that wasn't a big deal as we didn't eat inside very often. We had a fabulous Easter weekend just relaxing in the great out doors. The safari tent offered everything we needed even hot water bottles which was a god send as the morning were cold. Can’t wait to go back for another visit soon. The children and dogs had a great time too
We had a fantastic chilled week away. Played rounders, football, explored the woods and other walks around the location. John was great, very welcoming and informative. We had our adult children with us and they had an amazing time.
Brilliant tents and facilities. Perfect getaway for those who want the camping experience but keep the luxuries. Amazing location, surrounded by fields and yet so close to the lovely town of Framlingham.
