Barney's Cottage was all we had hoped for, and more. Spacious, well maintained and spotlessly clean in heart of the Yorkshire countryside. The cottage is ideally located, just a short distance from many excellent attractions including Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks, Pateley Bridge, Harrogate and Bolton Abbey. There are also many small attractive villages close by with fascinating walks, spectacular scenery and local pubs to explore. The next time we are visiting North Yorkshire Barney's Cottage will be our first choice of residence.
We enjoyed our stay very much, the property was clean & comfortable, everything you need. I very much appreciated the 'easy to operate' cooker having stayed in numerous properties where a degree in Cookerology is required in order to produce a meal! Loved seeing the Sheep virtually right outside the kitchen window. The Welcome Pack is also a lovely touch, so all-in-all a most enjoyable break.
