A super apartment located in the heart of Looe and convenient for shops, restaurants and pubs. The kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom were finished to a high standard. Definitely recommend!

As luck would have it we found the gem of an apartment the day before we were due to arrive. Despite us booking last minute, I received all of the arrival instructions promptly which was a great start.

Apartment is in a great location in the heart of the town, just steps from the beach. The apartment was cozy and clean, equipped with everything we needed.

We had the pleasure of chatting with the owners who were just lovely, who even gave me a nice bottle of wine.

This break was just what we needed after a pretty miserable few weeks following the loss of our beloved dog.

Don’t hesitate, book it, you won’t beat the value, cleanliness, facilities or location of this fab apartment.

We can’t wait to return in the Spring (or even a winter break if we can squeeze it in)

Arrived by train and had four nights at Sand Dune perfect location for us. Steep steps up to the accommodation was a bit of a mish with luggage but goes with the heritage. Enjoyed being able to self cater which was the drawcard. Had a full on time walked the coastal track to Polperro awesome scenery and did the entire Bodmin steam train excursion not to be missed!

What a great apartment for my stay in Looe. So close to the beach. Lovely and cosy apartment had everything I needed. Statyed in a few places in Looe this is far the
best value for money for a solo traveler.

Totally enjoyed my stay in this cozy flat. Tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The beach is just at your doorstep, the same with supermarkets, shops and restaurants. If you travel without a car, you have rather good connections to trains and buses to Liskeard, Plymouth, Polperro, Polruan etc. Would definitely recommend staying there and would love to return soon

This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Sand Dunes and like all the rest we had a fantastic time.
Sand Dunes has all the things you need ,literally just around the corner from the beach yet right in the town, you have every thing at your fingertips the location although central is nice and quiet.
The apartment is kept in tip top condition with all mod cons and except for personal items you need to bring nothing.
The contact with Sarah is always on time and concise.
Mill pool car park is a 10 minute walk away so once you have unloaded you can leave your car here, we paid £24.20 arriving Friday and leaving on the Monday.
Polperro is a 5 mile walk on the South West coast path or a 20 minute boat ride £12 per person one way.
There are plenty of restaurants and pubs and if you want food it pays to book our favourite was the Salutation Inn good pub food and they have a small Gluten free menu.

A note on the parking. If you wish to pay for a week on Millpool car park to get cheaper parking you need to pay on line at least a day before you arrive. Otherwise it costs £10 for an overnight stay.

Sand Dune is perfect for a couple or a single person who wishes to get away for a break. The lounge/kitchen is off good standard and compact yet cosy. The bedroom and ensuite is perfect, very comfortable and a great shower. There is a small porchway which is a good place to put shoes, beach bag etc. The property is about 30 seconds from the wonderful beach and harbour and central to cafes pubs and restaurants. Everything in the apartment is high quality and upon arrival there were complimentary drinks and snacks left on the small table which is perfect size for two people to eat at. There are a nest of coffee tables that are useful for putting drinks on should you decide to stop in for the evening, There is a smart TV on the wall which works well and is the right size for the room. To access the apartment you have to walk up about 10 steps to the front door.

Well located right by the beach and in the centre of town but quiet as off main streets.
Flat is perfect for a couple - all you need. Only downside is no parking but public car park 10 min walk away so was no problem

This was our fourth visit to the apartment. We absolutely love the location. The apartment is really clean and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were there for 2 weeks and had a mini clean after the first week. We will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to Looe and we couldn't have picked a better spot . Apartment was comfortable, cosy, warm and clean and had everything you could possibly need. The location was excellent. Just a stones throw from the beach , shops and restaurants . Excellent directions and communication with the owner . We arrived at Sand Dune and when we walked in, it was spotlessly clean a home from home. The bed was extremely comfortable. Sand Dune was set in the perfect location of Looe, after walking straight infront of you for a few metres you have the sea infront of you. The best place to park was the Millbrook car park which is only a 10 min walk away over the bridge and will save you over £40 in comparison to the other car park over the bridge for long weekend stays. We enjoyed it that much we tried to stay an extra night. We can't wait to return already!

This cottage was in a lovely location in pretty Looe and perfect for the two of us.
It was cosy, compact and bijou!.
It was well equipped , we ate in a couple of times.
The heating was great ( needed in December !) with lots of hot water too.

Small and cosy with everything you need , right by the seafront in lovely looe.
Bed really comfortable the shower was great and the location couldn’t have been better .
You can’t park outside but after dropping our bags off we managed to find free parking across the river which took us 15 minutes to walk , which we found an enjoyable walk and it didn’t inconvenience us at all.

We spent four nights early in October and we had the best weather possible .
The small flat is situated just around the corner from the beach and is close to the South West Coast path.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink but i would advise to book if you want to eat in the better resturants ie The Sail Loft or The Smugglers Cottage.
The Salutation is ideal for pub food and good ale with a nice atmosphere.
Paul makes sure that everything is as it should be and the accomodation has all you will need including linen and towels.
There is a small kitchen with a full size fridge , cooker , microwave etc.
The only two draw backs if you have mobility issues are the flight of stone steps up to the flat and the fact there is,nt any parking although there are plenty of spaces at Mill Pool car park a 15 minute walk away.

Would stay again. Place was small but well catered for. Very comfortable bed and good facilities in kitchen. Dealt directly with owner whose instructions and information were excellent and offered a better price due to dealing one to one. Location was perfect.

We stayed at Sand Dune for a 3 night break , we found the accomodation 5 star in all respects
The location could not be bettered with the beach on your doorstep.
All the local ameneties are literally around the corner.
Although there is no parking it is simple enough to use the Mill pool car park once you have unloaded your car.
Access to the accomodation is up a flight of stairs so maybe not suitable if wheel chair access is needed.
The south west coast path is easily accessable and well worth the effort with Polperro and Seaton 3-4 miles in either direction.
If you want to eat out i would advise booking well in advance as it can be difficult to get a table.
Two of the most popular resturants are The Old Sail loft and The smugglers Cottage ( which have an excellent gluten free choice ).

This place was a hidden gem, great location in the centre of Looe, just of the main path.

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay.

The pubs, restaurants and shops are just around the corner and the beach is a minute away.

Would recommend this gem and would definitely stay again when we return to Looe.

All bases covered. We felt immensely and genuinely welcome. It feels like a generous place to be. Great bed, bedding and towels. Good quality kitchen ware and everything you need to make a drink on arrival. Other hosts could learn a lot from the way these people treat their guests.

Just returned from a wonderful 4 days staying at Sand Dune, communication with the owner Paul was very helpful before my stay & we absolutely loved the apartment, literally 2 minutes out of the door & you are standing on Looe Beach.
I would recommend this property to anyone as we had the perfect 3 nights stay & were picky.

Our daughter had stayed in the other flat and highly recommended it to us so with the easing of the Covid restrictions we decided to book a short break in Sand Dune.
We thought that the accommodation was very clean and tidy and had everything we could have wanted (except for a dishwasher maybe?). The property was in a great position and we were able to explore Looe very easily.
We found it very peaceful overnight and Looe was a joy to walk around early morning before all the crowds flowed in.
We felt relaxed while there and will certainly come back.
