Set over two floors, this lovely property has original double-height chapel windows that create a dramatic first impression as you step into the entrance hall.

The ground floor features three comfortable bedrooms, including a master with en suite and direct access to the pretty, two-tiered courtyard garden—also accessible from the main hallway. A contemporary family bathroom serves the other two rooms, making this level ideal for families or groups.
Upstairs, the heart of the home is an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space, framed by exposed wooden trusses and flooded with natural light. A Juliet balcony overlooks the courtyard and can be opened on warm days to let the sunshine and fresh air inside. There’s also a fourth bedroom on this floor, complete with its own en suite. Outside, the walled garden offers a mix of sunny and shaded spots for relaxing or entertaining, with an outdoor dining area and a bubbling electric hot tub providing a little luxury to round off your stay.

Perfect for guests with their canines in tow, this property is just a couple of minutes’ walk from St Mary’s Park – a favourite exercise spot for local dog owners. The secluded Man Sands Beach is roughly half an hour’s walk away through the lanes and countryside, making for a lovely morning our afternoon out with the hounds.

Within easy reach of Brixham’s vibrant town centre and harbour, there’s no shortage of things to do during your stay. From sampling a plate of fresh seafood at the popular Rockfish to enjoying a stroll along the breakwater or crabbing off the marina, Brixham is a fantastic destination for both families and couples who are looking for to spend time in this lovely part of South Devon.

My sisters and I stayed 3 nights, we had an issue with a garden light out on 1st night where my sister fell down steps in courtyard they sorted it next morning, I emailed coastal properties prior to going and they confirmed no washing facilities whereas in fact there was a washer dryer in the laundry room, the parking facilities was ok for us but if really elderly wasn't good as it was behind a garage forecourt.. overall had a good stay but felt they should supply a hairdryer

Susan from Trowbridge stayed at The Old Chapel for 3 nights in March 2026
