Beautifully light and bright, this spacious lodge features gorgeous open plan living and a fantastic outside space complete with private terrace and hot tub.

Sleeping four guests, Periwinkle is ideal for families, with two bedrooms that consist of a sumptuous king size bed and a roomy twin. Countryside views can be enjoyed from nearly every angle of the lodge, with the open plan living room being the perfect place to unwind in with a good book or a in front of the TV. A fabulous electric flame effect woodburner keeps you cosy during the cooler months, while on bright, warm days you’ll be able to open the doors out to the private patio and enjoy basking in the sunshine or dining in the fresh Devonshire air.

Guests who enjoy cooking will love the amply-equipped kitchen which has everything you need to be able whip up anything from fresh bakes to a fancy feast and being open plan with the dining room and lounge means the designated chef needn’t miss out on any of the conversation. This lodge welcomes dogs so if your family includes four-legged members, you’ll be able to bring them along to enjoy all that the area offers including wonderful woodland walks and nature trails around the lake.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at roadford lodge and the 2nd time in this lodge.
It is amazing and really well equipt and finished to a high standard.
We stayed for 3 nights from 28th november and what was so nice was it had a christmas tree up and decorations which made it even more special.
Also the hot tub is really spacious and not overlooked.
We will be back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully clean,fully equipped, light and airy ,comfortable lodge . A very quiet clean park located beside Roadford lake , with lots of dog walking either around the site area or a good base to explore nearby Dartmoor , and the north Devon / Cornwall coast . The hot tub was fantastic after a long days walk.

An exceptionally clean and tidy and beautifully presented holiday lodge. Fabulous location nestled in the quiet Devon countryside.
Perfect spot near the woods and lake for walking the dog. So impressed with the luxurious facilities, particularly enjoyed the amazing hot tub. Great wifi speed, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and decent shower and bath.
Would certainly stay here again, well recommended.

A wonderful Autumn break at Periwinkle Lodge. Beautiful lodge with amazing lake & woodland walks which were stunning at this time of year.
We had an issue with the hot tub, which was dealt with quickly but not resolved. Only one jet was working which was disappointing & we were told to begin with that it was working when clearly it wasn’t. The site team explained the situation further & we felt disappointed as if there are issues with hot tubs then customers should be told. As the purpose of the break for us was to completely relax, we chose a hot tub as an essential part of our holiday. The company did refund us some money for this.

We booked this lodge as it looked very smart and had great facilities. The hot tub was ideal to use each day. It’s set in a very quiet and relaxing location, which is just what we had hoped it would be.

We had a lovely few days away staying here. The lodge was spacious and had all of the amenities we could need. There was a lot of rain over our few days so the dog wash was an absolute blessing after a very muddy walk around the lake. The location was absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend and we intend to visit again.

Lovely lodge within a private and very peaceful setting. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub is lovely for the evenings and the walk around the lake is a great way to have a small walk and take in the views.

Very nice place to stay, had a lovely time. Only shortfall was a problem with the internet, it seemed to be restricted for use at certain times of the day? It didn’t work in the mornings.
I did message the Holiday guest manager on mobile but no one ever replied or made contact, not great really. Also no one was ever actually in the reception building / room.

The lodge was stunning, really spacious, really well equipt and finished to a very high standard. The hot tub was lovely as so pretty at night when lite up. In a lovely quiet location not overlooked so very private.
