Set on a farm in the rural outskirts of Wells, Morgan Sweet offers couples a beautifully designed, sumptuous space from which to explore the city of Wells and its stunning surrounding countryside.

Inside, you’ll find everything you’ll need to be comfortable during your stay. There’s a lounge for lazing, kitchen / diner for preparing and sharing home cooked meals, and a cosy bedroom with double bed and en suite shower room. Double glass doors open out to the deck where views over the grass and down to the Lower River Axe can be enjoyed, and there’s a fabulous wood-fired hot tub as well as firepit / barbecue for alfresco dining and entertainment.

Just a 10 minute walk away, the Pheasant Pub (a favourite in the area) is a terrific place to while an afternoon or two away with good food and drink, or for those who don’t mind a short drive, The Ring O’Bells and The Burcott are also close by. A wealth of nature-infused attractions such as Wookey Caves (about 8 minutes’ drive), Cheddar Gorge, and Kilver Court and Gardens (both about 20 minutes) lie within easy reach, while Wells with its cathedral, shopping, restaurants and heritage sites, is the perfect day out. There are also several good beaches in the area including Burnham-on-Sea (with Britain’s shortest pier) which is about 30 minutes’ drive away, and the pebbly Kilve which is a little over an hour’s drive.

All guests will be provided with a Welcome Hamper, filled with little luxuries to help you settle in. Enjoy a prosecco or a beer on arrival, along with tea, coffee, long life milk, sugar, biscuits and chocolates for a relaxing start to your break.

Make your arrival extra special with our Hot Tub Package. For £26 the wood fired hot tub will be lit and warming beautifully ahead of your arrival so you can slip straight into relaxation the moment you step through the door. Simply add the Hot Tub Package as a bookable extra when confirming your stay.
If you expect to arrive after 4pm, please contact your local host so we can ensure the tub is perfectly timed and ready for you.

Exciting news: from July 2026 guests can enjoy exclusive on-site carp fishing with fish over 30 lbs. Pricing and dates to follow.

Lovely cosy pod ❤️. Hot tub was wonderful under the stars. Comfy bed and so very quiet. Lovely host who took the time to chat and share local knowledge . Enjoyed feeding the resident pigs and the location is a short drive to Wells and Glastonbury . Planning to visit again .

a lovely chilled weekend , relaxing the people are so welcoming made us feel so comfortable. i’m only 18 it was my first time going away on my own i really enjoyed it just a little bit far from everything if you don’t drive but we made it worked we walked very happy can’t wait to come back!!

We had a great time here! The location of the pod is on a little farm near both Wells and Glastonbury. It was lovely and peaceful. The area is beautiful and we had a great time here. The hosts were really friendly and offered advice of what to do in the local area. Would definitely visit again!

We recently stayed at Apple Tree Glamping to celebrate our anniversary, and I can honestly say it was the most peaceful and necessary escape we could have asked for! From start to finish, everything was perfect - we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that made the experience extra special. We had booked some additional extras, like rose petals on the bed and a helium balloon, to set the mood, and the hosts went above and beyond by leaving complimentary drinks and chocolates - a lovely and unexpected surprise!

The hosts were absolutely amazing - friendly, accommodating, and always happy to help with any questions we had. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests truly made the stay even more memorable.

The entire place was spotlessly clean, with a cosy and inviting atmosphere. We loved the experience of cooking on the fire pit, and of course, the hot tub was the highlight - the perfect way to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings.

We cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a romantic escape, a peaceful retreat, or simply a luxurious glamping experience, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be booking again!

I booked this for my partners birthday surprise stay, as she loves the area.

Found this little gem tucked away in Wells, Somerset. What drew us to this place was the hot tub and it didn’t disappoint us. It was quiet and the view from the pod was lovely. We wanted a quiet and chilled out time and we got it. My wife was excited to see the newly born piglets and even got to have a cuddle. It was also nice to see the other animals out in the morning, which were ducks, chickens, geese and turkeys. We used the fire pit which doubled as a bbq and sat on the decking eating dinner. It was so relaxing in the hot tub looking at the stars. Was clean and had all that you needed. Matt the host was lovely and there if you needed any help, which we did once trying to get the log burner going. We will definitely be back.

The hosts were really friendly and accommodating, a perfect location to relax in the hot tub and watch the animals and birds .Accommodation was excellent, thought of everything. Clean and tidy ,bed was very comfortable, lovely facilities if you wanted to eat and stay in or local pub nearby serving excellent food .
Electric gates and parking was a brilliant thought too ,cars and accommodation very safe .
We can't recommend this enough to everyone ,it's a must staycation and definitely would not disappoint anyone

Absolutely fantastic few days away, wanted to try Glamping have done now, Apple Tree Glamping was amazing will definitely be going back , Fantastic location so close to Wookey hole , Cheddar gorge and not far from Burnham on sea if you want sand between your toes, seperate parking spaces for each of the 5 pods with a dedicated charge point for those with Electric cars.Fresh eggs sold there to for those breakfasts, the pods have TV, a comfortable sofa ,cooking area with fridge , toaster ,microwave, shower and toilet in the back .Oh yeah and a double bed ,Don't take my word for it go check them out

Lovely relaxing get away. Spent 2 peaceful days here. The hut was fitted out with all you needed for a 2 day trip. Hut was nice and comfy. Only thing was the hot tub took about 2 hours to warm up but once warm the temperature never seemed to drop. We had a lovely time even though it rained one day. Local town 5 mins away, nice local pubs near by. And the owner was lovely and friendly. Would definitely stay again .
