The bay itself is made up of both Porthcurno Beach in its western corner and Pedn Vounder to the east. Both beaches can be walked to one from another when the tide is low, however it is highly advisable that visitors give careful consideration to the tide times as people may find themselves cut off with only a very steep climb up a cliff path to get back if they don't. Backing Porthcurno Beach, the iconic open-air Minack Theatre is an incredible place to visit for all the family, with its Grecian architecture and staggering 360 degree views over the bay. From May to September visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of plays and concerts being performed against its oceanscape backdrop as well as Logan Rock headland in the distance
