Family and pet-friendly, this gorgeous lodge is supremely spacious, light and airy with three large bedrooms, a stunning open plan living area and a wrap-around terrace with bubbling hot tub, table, chairs and countryside views.

Making the most of its wonderful position near Roadford Lake, the lodge boasts fantastic indoor / outdoor living with sliding doors that open on to the large private patio where you’ll be able to enjoy al fresco feasts and long, delicious soaks in the hot tub. Inside, the lodge has been beautifully styled and sports sublime sofas, a big kitchen / diner and three light-filled and spacious bedrooms. With a flat screen Smart TV your can stream your favourite shows or tuck up for a comfy movie night.

The property has two bathrooms to ensure ample space for all, and the lovely kitchen comes fully equipped to allow you to rustle up a plethora of delicious feasts during your stay. Clover Lodge is pet-friendly so your four-legged family members are welcomed, and a host of fantastic walking routes in the area means you’ll be able to enjoy fresh air adventure to your heart’s content.

We hired the lodge as we were at a family wedding close by. overall it was ok. However there was a musty smell in the en suite bathroom. the oven was in need of a deep clean, the fridge salad tray was broken and the hinge on the boiler cupboard door is loose. we had young children with us and we found the stools to the kitchen island to be very dangerous for them to sit on as they would tip over easy ( of course this is where they wanted to sit )
The hot tub we felt wasn't private enough, also to far away from the seating area. I wanted to iron a shirt, the iron was good but the table top ironing board was inadequate , a full size board could be stowed away easily where the hover is kept.
overall we had a comfortable stay, just needs some TLC and rethinking of the outside to bring it up to standard.

A great location by Roadford Lake, but be warned, you still need your car to get to the watersports centre if you have gear as it is a long walk through the trees.
The chalet was comfortable and a great size.

We would have had no holiday if it had not been for the wonderful people that own clover we had had our holiday cancelled the evening before we were due to go we were going to be staying at another lodge but due to issue with the lodge our holiday was cancelled less than 12 hour before we left but the people who owns clover came to our rescue and even gave up there time visiting there own lodge to make sure we had as much time as possible clover is a really wonderful lodge right next to the path to the lake it is super comfortable 3 bedroom a great shower and a second bathroom kitchen was well equipped with every thing you need there was washing machine / dryer literally we could not have stayed in a better lodge outside seating and jacuzzi was lovely and the location on roadford lodge is spot thank you for a wonderful holiday

The location is absolutely perfect and the lodge itself is beautiful. They do however not clean, and could not find one bit of coffee. There was a coffee machine but nowhere does it say what kind of coffee we need to buy in advance as they provide none. I’ve messaged the property manager, and up to now, still haven’t had a response. Dog hair everywhere, and socks turned black from white within 4 minutes inside. Extremely expensive for what they offer, would not recommend nor visit again

Clover Lodge, very impressive holiday outlet. Comfortable. The rooms were more than we needed but nevertheless it gave us enough space to relax and enjoy with the family. I would definately want to come again for my next holiday.

Lovely lodge situated in a quiet location near a beautiful lake. The site is almost all self service, which is really convenient. Was pleasantly surprised to find a fully equipped gym there too. The lodge was lovely and well kitted out. Nice extra touches with the coffee machine and board games! Nice furnature, comfortable beds and really nice hot tub.

Only thing that would have been handy would have been some kind of enclosure around the patio to keep the dog in. Other people with less mischeivious dogs were able to have their dogs off lead, but we were not able to because our dog has a tendancy to run away!...

Great place, would recommend for familes, couples or groups of friends of all ages.
