Fergus made every effort to make our stay the best it could be. We had a very relaxing get away and will definitely visit again as the barn was so lovely and comfortable. Thanks again for an amazing stay!
The property, the location and the host (Lucinda) are simply the best . Booked this for a week for our honeymoon and couldn’t fault it, we will definitely return.
Brook cottage was a lovely place. The cleanliness was super, the cottage super cute, we loved the location, close to oxford, close to blenheim palace and close to cotswold in all its greatness. We saw foxes, deer, rabbits and squirrels. We made lovely walks with the dogs to the Thames through fields and meadows... A good mirror in the bedroom would be nice, so lady’s can check there outfit before mr. Darcy comes for a cup of tea..
We stayed at the Old Stables for 4 nights and were very sad to leave! It is small but perfectly formed and worked very well for our family of 4. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches, great wood burner, powerful shower, comfortable beds. Excellent location to explore the Cotswolds. Owners very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen is small but well equipped. We would definitely come back.
We rented the Terrace house for 3 months for a winter break. A perfect place for Xmas and New Year. The house is extremely comfortable, very well equipped and perfect for entertaining. There are many fantastic local walks and some great pubs and restaurants nearby. Fingers crossed we are lucky enough to come again.
We booked The Lodge due to lots of uncertainty around foreign travel and quarantines and decided that a stay in The Cotswolds would be the perfect answer. We were a fairly large group of 7 couples so the set up at The Lodge was perfect for us as the team onsite provide all the catering and are on hand throughout the stay should you need an assistance with anything. In the lead up to our stay Jules was wonderful in helping us to plan the occasions we were in the house for (we were celebrating a birthday). We dinned in twice and had a wonderful BBQ in the picturesque courtyard and a formal 4 cou...more
The barns have spacious living areas and are well furnished. The outdoor seating provided and BBQ are very good. Plenty of parking and the barns are situated in lovely quiet village.
We stayed for several weeks through Christmas and New Year, wanting a 'get away to the country' break, yet within striking distance of stores, walking country etc. We were well served at this property, which is affiliated with the Eckington Manor Culinary School. The latter was still open prior to Christmas, and we enjoyed eating and skills practice during our stay. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful, ensuring we could enjoy cooking on the AGA, and keeping safe and secure while there. There is terrific country walks in the hills and by the riverside in easy reach, and local stores in Pe...more
Travelled here for work for a two week job with 4 others The Prince barn is extremely spacious and clean, the under floor heating was a nice touch aswell Would definitely recommend this place Lovely Stay
We stayed at Twigs cottage for a wonderful week in the countryside. The location is ideal for a quiet getaway, but has all the amenities you need nearby. The local pub serves fantastic food and the supermarket is only a 10 minute drive. The surroundings are stunning- the view from Twigs is beautiful. Our hosts went above and beyond for us, we felt very welcomed on arrival and thoroughly enjoyed all the little extras that come with Twigs. A huge bonus was the log burner which we enjoyed using- very cosy. I would absolutely stay again and would recommend it to anyone who’s thinking of a rural br...more
We stayed in The Barn. The accommodation is very spacious and is extremely well appointed and equipped. We arrived after a long flight from South Africa and were very pleased to see all the necessary little things like coffee, tea salt and pepper, dishwasher tablets, surface cleaner etc. The place is spotless, the beds large and comfortable and the towels are white and fluffy. The setting is beautiful and peaceful with a large lawned area outside where our grand-children enjoyed kicking a ball etc. Close by there is a co-op in Stanford-in-the-Vale and approximately 10mins away in Faringdon ...more
Pear Tree suited the 8 of us beautifully. A great location for walks and cycling not to mention the pub! The house is very comfortable with plenty of space to gather, or relax We had a couple of questions whilst there and they were addressed promptly and were very helpful.
We spent 2 1/2 weeks in this stunning home in October. We loved every minute. The house is a beautiful mix of history and modern convenience. Perfect for a family reunion or a couples vacation. The location is amazing, one block from the high street of charming Burford. The owner was very accommodating and helpful All in all, an excellent and memorable experience. We will definitely be back!
The service provided by StayCotswold was second to none - initial enquiry 22.15, by 10.00 next day booked and confirmed. Service from Mel Green on behalf of Baldon House was very professional and welcoming, big thank you to her. Very relaxing family catch up and birthday celebration - just what we needed. House felt like home as soon as we walked through the door. Thank you for the generous "welcome basket". Garden space is phenomenal, we made great use of it, so many different games/sports played by all.
Good location for visiting any part of The Cotswolds. Large house with good sized rooms and excellent outdoor space for games particularly croquet (equipment provided, also badminton). Kitchen dinning area well laid out and lovely and sunny in the mornings. Slight noise from the work that had to be done outside towards the end of our stay but didn't really impact on us. Had more of an issue with visitors to the brewery and walkers wandering down our side of the driveway. More than happy to be next to a working brewery but maybe better direction for visitors? We did have a lovely week and ...more
The barn was beautiful and comfortable in a gorgeous setting. It was a great stay and we’d definitely go back.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Stables. Enjoyed the house, especially the morning sun in the large kitchen for breakfast. The view down onto the river is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are decorated most tastefully and we enjoyed BBQing outside even in the freezing weather. Finally, and very importantly for us, everyone at Stay Cotswolds and at Camden Farms who we spoke to or helped us were friendly, professional and accommodating. Thank you for a fabulous couple of weeks!!!
We had a fantastic stay at Yew Tree Farmhouse - it was immaculate - comfortable - cozy - and charming Highly recommend this home if you are in the Cotswalds Thank you to Stay Cotswalds for your assistance with this booking We will be back!!!!
We loved this house, & it was perfect for a large family gathering - two cosy living areas which suited teens and oldies, tastefully-designed rooms and comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and a stone's throw from the pub and the village shop, There was even a decorated Christmas tree, to make it even more welcoming. On the negative side - it would have helped to have an extending dining table or a side table - it was just a tad too short for a festive meal, with not a lot of table space for vegetables. And the oven - it's just too small, so cooking for a group needs careful planning, and ...more
Good place to stay but very poor forniture in the kitchen. A lot of space in blossom bungalow ok for a whole family
Ready token was the perfect cottage it was very cosy and very relaxing, the cottage was very well equipped with everything you could possible need and more. Cottage was always kept warm which was a bonus as I feel the cold, excellent facilities even had a dishwasher so u could still enjoy your holiday. Definitely would recommend this cottage as was also very well situated, can’t wait for our next stay.
Perfect location, facilities clean and well prepared, easy and clear communication with the customer service
We were in the middle of a difficult house sale and completion dates kept changing. We booked Fairfield cottage not only because it was very convenient but because Stay Cotswold have by far the most customer friendly booking system. We had to change dates twice but thanks to the help and cooperation of Stay Cotswold and Jaime Gould in particular , we were able to do this secure in the knowledge that we will get a full refund (minus booking fee) for the cancelled dates. This is in sharp contrast to other booking agents. I would be happy to recommend this company and would certainly use them a...more
We are a family of four with a dog. The place was amazing, for country lovers. Tremendous spaces where to stay well accomodate with a Labrador "teenager" too! We had so much space, actually too much for 4, but enough to have a place where to do some "zoom conference" or to reading some good books without noises. From the place you can reach easily most of the pretty Village in the Cotswold. Amazing experience to be repeat!
From the minute we arrived we loved everything about Ivy Cottage. The outside space is perfect for playing in the garden or sitting in the sun. Beautiful walks on our doorstep made for an adventurous lockdown! Inside this cottage is bigger than the photos make it look. 3 very comfortable bedrooms all with ensuites, spacious living room with plenty of seating for everyone, lovely big kitchen with all amenities. The host was very accomodating and easy to communicate which always makes staying somewhere that's not home better. We would not hesitate to stay again or recommend Ivy Cottage/Camden F...more
We had a great time at The Owl Barn. Perfect location for walking and cycling straight from the barn. The grounds are beautiful and plenty of space for my grandsons to play football.....almost a full size football pitch! We will definitely be returning. Loved it!!
This is a lovely property. We had a couple of issues, most notable was the dog hair. It was on the bedding, carpets etc. The property had obviously been cleaned, but if you are going to allow dogs then you have to clean better than that. I like dogs, I don't want to sleep in other peoples dog's hair. Also, I had requested twin beds for the children and their bed was made up as a double. I managed to split them myself and just about find anough bedding to do the first night. Oh, and there was no washing up liquid or dish cloths, the kind of things that you would expect to just be there. Havi...more
My sister had stayed in Punch before, so when a family member needed us close by it was the perfect property to feel relaxed and happy in. Light, airy, well equipped and in a beautiful hamlet with plenty of walking nearby, which was lovely in early mornings. Everything you need and huge bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Home from home but with a hint of luxury.
Very quiet and beautiful place to stay like home . Everything are ready for you to use like home, we will come back
We had a wonderful family stay at Upton Downs. The house is spacious and very comfortable and having the farm shop and smokery next door was great. The garden is huge and the toddlers loved running around and picking apples. There were a few essential things missing: no towel rails or toilet roll holders in any of the bathrooms. No large bowls for salad or pasta and no salad spinner. Having these would have made our stay even better.
Very well equipped and well maintained, the property gave us an opportunity to relax in these troubled times.
We had a really lovely time at Honey Cottage. Such a cozy and warm cottage, absolutely stunning. Also we were greeted by a generous welcome pack which was very nice. Would recommend to any couples looking for a romantic break.
