We had such a lovely time at Carpenters Cottage with our two small children. It has a wonderful interior and is spacious and cosy at the same time. We had good weather so we were out and about in the area which is just gorgeous. Nice recommendations for activities are provided by the host. When it rained one day we stayed inside and sat comfy on the sofa and played games. Absolutely recommended. We would definitely go back here next time.
We had a brilliant stay at the Bitcher's Flat in Chipping Campden. The flat was beautiful but felt very comfortable and homely. Spotlessly clean with all the amenities you would want. Lovely touches to make you feel welcome on arrival which were much appreciated. We will definitely stay again. Many thanks
We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous property. Everything was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Beds very comfortable and loved the interiors throughout. Nice village coffee shop just 5 minutes walk away great for breakfast and open for evening meals.
Fabulous cottage so cosy and welcoming and it had been decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch. The location is brilliant with a 1 minute walk to the shops , bars and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed will definitely be back. There is a Bed n Breakfast next door which is the same owners but you wouldn't know as the cottage is private. All round lovely visit to a beautiful part of the country.
Very beautiful laid out small annexe with everything you need. Quiet and peaceful great looking out into the fields with lots of pheasants and other birds to watch. Plenty of places to visit in close proximity and nice eating places which we enjoyed. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay in the Cotswolds

Very well appointed property. Just missing a cafetiere but otherwise had everything we wanted. Property has parking for one car with lay-by opposite but this can get very busy so need to bag a space early. Very pleasant, if uphill, walk to Stow. Overall a lovely stay!
My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Tansie House. It's a great location for a stroll into the town and pubs, with plenty of room to chill.

We'd definitely come back. A great apartment in a beautiful barn. Really quiet location in a pretty village with gorgeous walks straight from the door - we only took the car out twice. The apartment is very cosy and warm, beds are very comfortable with lovely linen. Everything has been very well thought through. Village farm shop and a village store nearby great for provisions. Our stay in The Old School House was perfect for our weekend to reset to the time zone coming from Australia. It is a cosy space with a functional kitchen and comfortable bed. The property is well located in a quiet street around the corner from the centre of town and the parking space is very handy.
We had a fabulous stay at Stonelands. Perfect for our girls get together. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were super comfy. Some mirrors in the bedrooms would be good.
We had a lovely time in The Coach House. It is beautifully decorated and very well equipped with all modern conveniences. Communication with the owners was easy and they were very nice and accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying for a holiday in the Cotswolds. Thank you very much.
We had a wonderful few days staying at Fox Cottage. Mark and Jenny have created a beautiful and comfortable space. The local town of Charlbury has a number of lovely pubs and The Old Shed Cafe is a great breakfast spot which you can walk to.
We absolutely adored our time at Rex Cottage. It was the perfect size for our party of 5 (4 adults + a 16-month old) and had room comfortably for 2 more people if needed. The cottage itself was so cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfy, the living room and fireplace couldn’t have been better for the cold evenings, and Willersey was a great base point to explore so many of the other Cotswold towns. We had a great couple of nights stay in the shepherds hut. Justine made sure we had everything we’d need for our arrival (tea, milk and biscuits!) and suggested places for us to visit. So welcoming! The nights were cool outside but we were supper cosy with the log burner and a comfy bed!
We had a lovely stay at Little Barford. The kids enjoyed watching the tractors go by and the grown ups admired the peaceful surroundings. Lots to do a short drive away - we’d recommend Cotswold Wildlife Park. The house had lots of homely touches that made us feel welcome such as freshly baked cake and flower displays.
Pinkney House is gorgeous, and in a great location on the High Street. They even had the Christmas tree up, which was very festive. We would definitely stay again.
What a superb place!! We could hardly believe how well the cottage was set up. Every thing you would need for a perfect stay. The morning after we arrived we woke up to the first snow of the year! We had a most delightful stay at Church Mews, property was tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout. Everything you required was available within the property to make for a great stay and the garden immaculate with plenty of garden furniture. Our long weekend in Stow on the Wold was perfect from start to finish. Agatha Bear cottage was absolutely spotless when we arrived. It was easy to let ourselves in with the key in the lockbox and everything we needed to know was either sent in a message prior to our arrival date or noted down in the information booklet to read when we arrived. It was much more spacious than we imagined and the rooms were great - warm with comfortable beds. Great location for walking into Stow and spacious, off-street parking too. There really wasn't anything to complain about! We will be back!
Shakespeare Cottage is excellent in all ways. Clean and comfortable with everything you could want for the ideal stay. The owners and Sharon, the housekeeper, have thought of everything and utilised the space in the best possible way. It was great for four of us but might be a bit of a squeeze for six. Having said that, I would highly recommend this property. The location is perfect for all Stratford’s attractions.
Everything about our stay at Twigs was amazing. Coral was so helpful and friendly, even putting out a sign on the street on the evening of our arrival so we would know where to turn in. The kitchen has a full-sized side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, which was great for storing food for our 6 night stay. The welcome pack was very appreciated. Best water pressure we've ever had in the shower - absolutely amazing! Gorgeous gardens to sit out in the morning or evening, after touring around the Cotswolds. This barn was of very high standards, equipped with everything you could possibly need , a great place to share and entertain with a large group of friends/family. Outdoor space great , comfy beds and lots of en-suites with lovely showers . Would love to return some day
Had a great time during our stay in the Cotswolds. The Shepherds hut was super cosy , great facilities and location, friendly and helpful staff and fantastic secure garden for the dog . The manager let us look at one of the other properties that would be a great place should we return with friends in the future .
Located in heart of Chipping Norton . Very comfortable 3 good sized bedrooms . Lovely design . Great kitchen with everything you need. Stylish and relaxing. We enjoyed it very much. Only downside was comfy seating for 6 adults watching tv together is limited.
We had a 4 night break at Little Cottage. The cottage was beautiful and clean. The location was great in the centre of Stow on the Wold - very close to shops and restaurants and also a great base to explore the Cotswolds.
Super cosy little cottage. Perfect for two people and a (not huge) dog. Brilliantly located, minutes walk from a number of pubs and shops in town but on a really quiet road. Everything has been thought of; pre-made fireplace, instructions to do it yourself, shoe dryer, soft blankets, games and puzzles for the inside days, guides for walks, pubs, food etc on days out. Loved it.

Highgate is a wonderful property in the centre of Moreton In Marsh. The space is open plan and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and both the bathrooms spacious with great showers.
Really lovely place. Very clean and had everything we could need. It was very close to Cirencester it only takes around 15mins to walk over. The fireplace was lovely and they sell wood at the spar literally 30seconds walk up the street. Would come again :)
We had a wonderful family stay at Harvey's Corner Cottage. The location was perfect as it was nearby to lots of family attractions such as Blenheim Palace, Fairytale Farm and Cotswold Wildlife Park. There is actually a playground within walking distance which was very handy for us. The rooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. When we arrived, things like bread, eggs, butter an biscuits were left for us, which was a fantastic touch. The bathrooms were lovely (the water pressure was good, which I think is quite important!) Lovely cottage a quick 5 minute walk from the centre of Stow on the Wold town centre. Perfectly located for a weekend in the Cotswolds. Cottage is clean, modern and very comfortable and suited 4 adults very well. Parking is easy and instructions very clear for access. Wish we could have stayed longer!
A lovely well equipped and comfortable property in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. Burford is a really interesting place to be based with great shops and lots of fine historic properties.
This was our 3rd time staying at the Brewery. We love staying there as a group due to its location to Burford and other amenities. The fabulous Burford garden centre a short walk. All the lovely pubs and shops to visit! It was the perfect weekend with all the girls. We hired a private chef also for one of our evenings and it was perfection.
Our family had a lovely stay at Molls Yard. It is a great location to explore the Coltswald when renting a car. There are a few local pubs in the area we really enjoyed. The flat was well-equipped and very comfortable.
We had a wonderful stay at Owls Roost. Laura was such a helpful host, providing recommendations for an excellent Sunday lunch (The Nuttery) and even offering a late check-out. The house is beautiful with plenty of space and seating for everyone to spend time together. The only downside was that we hadn’t understood from the floor plan that the bedrooms don’t have doors. Each is accessed via its own flight of stairs so you do have some privacy, but the lack of doors means that sound travels. Beautiful little cottage in the heart of Tetbury, the cottage has everything you could want home from home. The beds are so comfortable and warm, Exactly as described and pictured, Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side but this made us do things we may not have done in the dry, we went on a tour of the spire of St Mary’s church and had a turn of bell ringing, that was amazing! This property was ideal for a week's stay with our border collie. We've stayed in various properties throughout the Cotswolds for many years, and this one was definitely the best, with comfortable furniture and modern kitchen appliances. The large area of grass round the property, and the easy access to a local footpath, meant exercising the dog and ourselves was very straighforward. Being able to park the car right outside the door made loading and unloading easy.

What’s not to love about this perfect house literally 3minutes from the beautiful Stow-on-The-Wold! House was incredible, exactly as the pictures. The galleried landing and chandelier was stunning! We travelled to Will's cottage to see friends and were delighted with the accommodation. We went as a family with two young kids (5 and 1 years old) and it was great. We loved the open plan downstairs area so the family could all be together, and it was large enough to host our friends who visited for lunch. Just a short drive from some wonderful woodland walks meant it was very convenient to get out and about. The views over the hills was great and we even spotted a family of deer early one morning. Garden Cottage is a beautiful cottage, and the attention to detail and the little extras that are included all add to the experience. It was a birthday trip for me, and the owner even left a birthday card! There's everything you need - dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, etc and the hot tub is obviously fantastic for the chilly evenings! Loved this cottage. Beautiful decor, quality fittings, furniture and kitchen equipment. It was super clean, and just a joy to live in a couple of days. Really cosy in the winter, the garden which we didn’t really use given the time of year would be beautiful in the spring/summer. The cottage is so quiet, however it is really well placed for Stow centre, with all its lovely shops and eateries. Have recommended to friends and when in the Cotswolds again would stay here. It was such a treat to stay in the barn! It felt very comfortable and luxurious - lovely en suite bathrooms, comfy beds, big comfy sofas and open fire place with wood to burn. We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate my 50th - the kitchen had everything we needed and the ambience was fabulous around the big dining table. We all decided we would love to come again!
Gisleburtus House is a lovely and roomy apartment, beautifully appointed with comfortable furnishing. The primary bedroom is huge with loads of wardrobe space and a comfortable bed. The only real complaint is that the bath towels were small and it would be great if larger towels were provided. The apartment is perfectly located in Stow, with the bonus of an accessible parking space.
We could not have asked for a more pleasant cottage to stay in. It was cosy and comfortable in a lovely little village with plenty of walks close by. Also within easy reach of other Cotswold villages and to my wife and daughter’s delight Bicester village. As our dog has recently gone blind the garden was ideal for her to stumble around without fear of injury, whilst we sat with a glass of wine. Shop across the road was well stocked and pub two minutes away served good beer and food. Only ten minute walk to Hook Norton Brewery, can recommend the tour and breakfast. Puddleduck House was perfectly located within walking distance of the town centre and amenities and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and we enjoyed using it. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped, some of the plates needed cleaning before use but as a whole the property was clean. There was sourdough bread and cotswolds butter left for our arrival which was a thoughtful touch. Communication before and during the stay was excellent and couldn't be faulted. Overall I would highly recommend staying here.
We stayed at Lakeside house from Friday till Monday. The house was wonderful very comfortable. It enabled three generations to celebrate my son’s 40th birthday in comfort. All the amenities were good. Definitely would recommend.
Thank you for a great long weekend at The Old Post Office. We were a group of 7 family members enjoying a weekend together. The accommodation was spacious and immaculate. It had everything we needed. The location was peaceful with a lovely local shop/cafe and pub where we enjoyed a tasty roast. We enjoyed walks in Ilmington, Broadway to the tower, Chipping Campden and Moreton in Marsh. I would highly recommend The Old Post Office if you are looking for a lovely place to stay.

We booked this venue for a family get together with an age range of nearly 1 through to 71 & we all had a great time. The place was spacious, comfortable & easy to relax in & had all the amenities we needed. The airfield at the bottom of the garden was an added attraction for the children! We would definitely consider returning for another holiday.
The concept of 2 barns suited our family requirements. One family of 2 adults, 2 children, 1 baby and a dog were in Little Barn and 5 adults and a baby in High Barn. Linking the 2 barns is a gravel area which was irritating to walk on and got dispersed into both properties. A new solid path would resolve this. Very spacious outdoor areas, allowing multiple activities to be done outside on big grassy area. Overall complex very spacious and no problems with any neighbours, away from working farm. The pictures do not do Cross Keys cottage justice. The place is stunning! If you’re looking for a comfortable retreat for a large family or group, I could not recommend it highly enough. The location is also perfect, right in the middle of one of the prettiest towns in the Cotswolds, surrounded by walks, pubs, shops and so much more. We had the perfect long weekend away.
We really enjoyed our stay . The barn was spotless, comfortable and peaceful . All rooms are spacious. Well located to drive to attractions around the Cotswolds. My only negative is, I would have liked the garden to be a little more enclosed for my dog. The plant pot barrier instead of the fence ment she could get out which wasn’t ideal.
The house is beautiful. Spacious, comfortable and well fitted out with everything you need. There were a couple of cleaning issues, an old avocado down the side of the fridge and a few pans and cutlery not very clean. There were a couple of cracked glasses in the cupboard. This would not put us off booking again however!
We was all very pleased with the Fossieside house we have been to bourton on the water in November for about 20 years and have stayed in various cottages and houses and this was one of the best and hope to use this company in the future
Keeley cottage is superbly located on the main street in Chipping Campden,a beautiful with everything you need within walking distance.Lots of places to eat and grab a coffee or buy local produce and take it back to the cottage and prepare it yourself in the fantastic kitchen/diner.Very well equipped and the under floor heating in there was very much appreciated,not sure what our jack Russell made of having warm paws!!Logs available at the Coop for use on the log burner where you can sit and read a book of which there are many in the cottage and board games a plenty.The main bedroom has a ver...more
Great location 2 minutes walk to a great pub which does good value food. 15 minutes walk into Burford which great shopping and cafes. The Reading Room is super comfortable, nicely decorated and is very well equipped. The owners are across the courtyard and checked on us once to introduce them selves. Off road designated parking spot which was ample for our large car. There are some great circular walks from the property. Many interesting places to visit within 10-20 min drive including Clarkson’s Farm Shop and Pub.

We had a lovely long weekend at Fury Barn. The cottage was the perfect size for 3 generations to enjoy the Cotswolds. We had everything we needed in the cottage and even cooked a roast dinner. There were lots of fun things to do for little ones within a half an hour drive so we were very busy!
Vine Cottage was a fantastic place to stay during our trip to the Cotswolds. Excellent location close to brilliant walks, lovely pubs and local attractions like Diddly Squat Farm. The cottage was superbly equipped, very clean and the addition of a hot tub was a great feature. Already planning to come back!
We loved this property. It was very smart, well decorated and in a great location. We loved the kitchen which was well equipped and had a good flow. The heating system was spot on and felt very comfortable. The separation of 2 houses in one was very clever. Although the lounge area was spacious, it probably needed more seating for 10 people. What a wonderful setting to stay in, our dog loved it as the garden is fully enclosed so we could let her out and explore the garden. The shepherds hut had everything you would need for a holiday. A microwave, hob and all the utensils and condiments you would need. We got there and it had a bottle of wine, tea, coffee and some milk. The wildlife was amazing, hares, owls, rabbits. The list goes on. A picnic area at the side of the Thames was a great spot to watch the boats go bye. Overall a wonderful stay in Vespers!!!
My daughter and I stayed here for a birthday treat and it is a fabulous property, right in the centre of Stow. Everything you could possibly want is on your doorstep and also close to other villages and attractions. Very spacious and comfortable property, and it also felt very secure being in the enclosed courtyard overnight. Great communication from StayCotswold. We will definitely book again!
We had a lovely stay at Rosewood cottage . There were three of us and did feel the lounge seating arrangement would have been cramped had there been 4 . Also a couple of normal saucepans would have been useful rather than all le creuset . Otherwise all good .
A beautiful property extremely close to the centre of the pretty town of Stow. Despite its location we found the property to be quiet and peaceful with the main living rooms and bedrooms to the rear of the building. Lovely secure enclosed garden which was ideal for our 2 small dogs and plenty of walks on the doorstep. We would have loved to have stayed longer!
We enjoyed our stay at the Barn. Everything was as expected and the property was well kitted out with everything. Nice large spaces and perfect for our needs; 2 families of 5 with teenagers. Well placed for Oxford, Blenheim and White Horse which we visited along with Bourton on the Water and Didley Squat farm which were a bit further. Doors need a good slam to close but other than that no complaints. Very peaceful stay.
My friends and I (a group of five school friends in our forties) spent a wonderful two nights at The Old House in Tetbury. The house is well-appointed, right in the centre of Tetbury by the church. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed and the living room was very comfortable and warm with plenty of seating available. We loved our stay at 2 Bottom End. A really well equiped cottage and very tastefully furnished. The secure back garden was a bonus for our dog and also the hot tub. Parking on the street was easy, which is a real plus point when your only 5 mins walk from all the shops and pubs. Highly recommend.

Hillside was very easy to find and was the perfect location for travelling to Cheltenham and Winchcombe. The house is located in a very peaceful cul-de-sac. The house was spotless, the rooms are very spacious and the view from the kitchen window out on to the hills was lovely, despite the drizzly rain! An added bonus was being a 2 minute walk from a family-friendly pub. Hillside is a great place to stay with children and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to other families.
We were here for 3 nights for my wife’s birthday. It is beautifully decorated and well equipped although we only used the kettle! It is so close to great places to eat but still fairly quiet. The hot tub is really big and we used it twice a day. Absolute bliss. We slept well in a very comfy bed and used the log burner every night. We took our smallest car which easily went in the garage. A few minor niggles though. There was no milk in the fridge for a cuppa and no firelighters and a tiny amount of kindling. This was our second time here, over 1.5 years later. The property was still in great condition and spotlessly clean. It has beautiful views and works well as a location. We went with out 3.5 year old and 8 month old. The property worked well as a family as it is a huge space, great heating, parking and outside space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at rectory barn, and it is truly a beautiful house. The location was perfect distance from lots Of lovely places to visit. The beds were comfortable and it was just a great house for our family to get together. The owner was very good to deal with, and was helpful. Comfortable large house on the edge of the Cotswolds and near the Thames Path. Burford and Oxford 25 minutes away. Excellent large kitchen/diner which we spent most of our time in. Comfortable beds except for the twin room where beds were a bit soft and headroom tight (slanting roof). Good to have bedrooms on the ground floor although 3 bedrooms have no view ie look onto a garage wall/car port so they are quite dark. Bathrooms all good. Had a fab stay at Middle Barn.It was difficult to find even with 3 words but we shall definitely stay again as accommodation was very clean and we were extremely comfortable during our stay.
Beautiful accommodation as described in the marketing. Wood fired hot tub and the use of the paddle boards made our stay perfect! Perhaps the only comments from the guests were that it would have been nice to have a shower downstairs to shower off before/after the hot tub and paddle boarding but this was not a problem as all bedrooms had an en-suite which were lovely.
Despite Storm Bert best efforts to disrupt our stay in the Cotswolds he did not win!! With advanced warning of the weather we stocked up with all the essential. We hunkered down with a nice bottle or 2 and a log fire what more did we want!! It was a very nice family get together. Would recommend.
A good base to tour the Cotswolds. Very well equipped with parking space. I have nothing more to say just making up the number of letters.
The Hayloft was clean and cozy and a perfect spot to stay in while we visited friends in Cold Aston. (Bonus walking distance!)

The snow was unexpected but added to the character of surroundings. Cottage comfortable and warm. Location excellent for walking into Stow for hospitality. A privilege to bring our dog too although we made little use of garden.

We were delighted by the cleanliness and condition of the Barns. We rented all of them (other than there was no access code for Pony) other than through the Barn. The Hub and Bathroom were well stocked with glasses and kitchen utilities were ample for our purposes. We had a reception on the lawn for all our guests plus the Brides family on the Friday which worked well. The bed in the Main Barn above the kitchen is terribly hard because the mattress is far too thin /worn for the quality of accommodation. I didnt try the others.
Above all, Honeysuckle Cottage was a very cozy, warm and confortable place to stay in. The location was perfect too.

We enjoyed our week at Middle Gable. The house is so warm and cosy. It’s very atmospheric as it’s such an old property. Cate is very friendly and always on hand if you need to contact her. The location is fantastic as it’s 2 mins from the hustle and bustle but still nice and quiet. Looking forward to coming back in the future
Everything was perfectly arranged and ideal for 6 adults and a dog. We appreciated the welcome basket and additional provisions, such as coffee, tea, sugars etc. This saved us the expense, particularly helpful for a short stay. Provisions for the dog was also a very nice touch. Good people and a very comfortable stay.
A lovely quiet place to stay with lots to do. Stow has all the amenities you need with a fantastic range of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Trinity was a lovely place to stay. Clean, tidy and functional. I would definitely stay here again if and when we return.
This was the perfect house for to have our annual girls school reunion. This is our 7th year of doing this type of weekend and The Manor House was by far the best accommodation we have had. Very comfortable, spacious and perfect for what we wanted from the weekend. All the family had a wonderful week at The Farmhouse to celebrate my 70th birthday. Neil was the perfect host providing us with all the information we required prior to arrival and was easily contactable during our stay if needed. We were greeted with a lovely hamper of goodies, flowers and thoughtful gifts which were very much appreciated. We had a wonderful time staying at Yew Tree Farmhouse celebrating a family Birthday. It is a beautiful, spacious house set in a wonderful location with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep. You have to remember that it’s in the country and next to a working farm so you do need to be prepared for, in our case, cows mooing through the night! The games room was well equipped and spacious and the wood fuelled hot tub was relatively easy to get going. Both were very much enjoyed. Would highly recommend for a large group get together.
The location of the flat in the village of Winchcombe is ideal for trips into the Cotswold. The flat was only superficially clean. The kitchen is well equipped. There were enough towels in the bathroom. There was a lack of tea towels. You have to come to terms with the steep staircase to the upper floor, the steps are very high and narrow.
We enjoyed our four night stay. The location is outstanding and you feel part of the beautiful small village. The cottage is well equipped. Did some laundry there is a little room with washer and dryer. Beds very comfortable and lovely bedding. You just need to bring your food, wine and laundry soap. Build your fire and you’re in heaven!
Well this is a beautiful house and cottage in a perfect location. We made use of both as we were a group of 6 The house provided nearly everything we needed. The issues we raised are simple to fix and we hope that they are taken on board. The extractor fan in the top bathroom is still not repaired and causes damp issues, the shower in that room runs far too hot and definitely needs resolving as it means the guests have to use another bathroom. Stayed with whole family so glad to have somewhere that could accommodate us all. Unfortunately we did not receive email until we had left which was a shame as we did not need to take tea towels etc. Location of barn fantastic for exploring the Cotswolds. We had a wonderful family holiday in Abbots Cottage, with our 2 small children (aged 5 and 2). The cottage is even more beautiful than the photos and felt warm and cosy. We would love to come back. As a suggestion we would like to suggest perhaps installing a coffee maker, we missed that a bit. For the rest everything was fine!
We had a fabulous stay at Blenheim Cottage - it is clean, comfortable, well-appointed and beautifully presented. Although it has 2 bedrooms, we found the space ideal for two of us and thought it might feel rather cramped with four. The outside space is charming (note, there are some steep steps and hazards for children), but, again, not spacious and with no seating for lounging. There is no permit to park on the street outside the house (restricted between 6pm and 8am), but there is detailed information inside the cottage on parking options. We stayed at Ivy Cottage for the weekend and had a great stay. The house was the perfect size and layout for a gathering. We enjoyed the hot tub and views! Each room had its own en-suite and the house manager was very responsive during our stay. Would definitely recommend!
Visiting Perry Cottage again was a real treat, we have stayed here before and so glad we booked to go back for a birthday weekend. The garden is an added extra for our two Labradors, plus walking on the idyllic local public footpaths. Everything you could want and need is inside and you are not a million miles away from a town. I would not hesitate to return again for another guaranteed great stay.
We stayed for a month in Manor Farm cottage and could not have been happier. The location was perfect for us, a tiny hamlet, that was so peaceful but only a few minutes drive to the nearest town. The cottage was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to enjoy the outdoor space but it was lovely and would be wonderful to enjoy in good weather. Staycotswolds were responsive hosts and I have only good things to say about them. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would definitely love to return.
I had high expectations of this cottage as I knew it was newly renovated. I have been in the Cotswolds on several occasions and used this booking company before. However there were obviously a few snagging items to be addressed. The damp patch upstairs, the missing top to the tap in the bathroom . A few rental things also , a microwave would be useful , a brush to sweep the floors and a vacuum( the one upstairs does not work) .it will not take much to turn it into a 5 star property ! We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Prince Barn. It's a lovely bright cottage with extremely comfortable beds, generous living space, a well equipped kitchen and immaculate bathrooms / shower rooms. Very useful to have a washing machine too in a utility room. The location is very pleasant and just a 5 minute drive to Faringdon. We would love to return.
Cosy corner is a great base for exploring the Cotswolds. It was well equipped and thought through, and the wood burner is a delight! Some of the kitchen items were not clean and the lounge furniture not the comfiest, but otherwise we had a lovely stay. Fabulous surrounding walks. Great location, very quite. The property has everything you need. On arrival it looked clean, going in we found rubbish in bags left in bathroom. Then going to sit on settee there was dirt and crumbs not expectable.
Really enjoyed our stay at Cub cottage, despite the weather. Excellent location with a good pub just over the road. A couple of minor things for the owners to fix up at some point, but nothing that spoils your stay.
We stayed last year for our wedding week and found the house to be perfect! We were too busy with family to spend much time at the property so returned for our wedding anniversary. The cottage had everything we needed, with the minor exception of pods for the Nespresso in the kitchen. The cottage was spotless at arrival. Generally very clean and tidy and well equipped except for:- Cleanliness:- Dust on back of barn doors.Many cobwebs throughout especially round lounge window which was easy to see. Shaven Cottage is a really lovely property. It’s a great size and in a village with a couple of lovely pubs to eat in. The decoration and quality of accommodation was great and the property inside was very clean and well maintained. Great location for visitng the Cotswolds, parking could be an issue during the busier monthes, we managed to park at top of Back Walls most nights which is only a 5 minute walk, a bit annoying if carrying bags/shopping etc.Blind in front bedroom needs fixed as does the extractor fan in the bathroom. A very well equipped apartment and nicely furnished. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend you stay in the bedroom to the rear of the property as the church bells across the road are very loud and ring every hour(even during the night)

We stayed in Bea’s Cottage for a few days in November whilst visiting family in Cirencester, which is only 8 min drive away. We travelled with our two little children and got there in the dark, but the property manager had left the light on for us and the heating was on so it made for a really nice welcome. Darren, the property manager, was great throughout and communicated with us well. Even gave us a bit more time on the last day as he knew we needed to pack everything up with the kids! I booked this house to celebrate a family birthday and we had ten people ranging in age from 1 year to 70 years It fitted our criteria very well with plenty of room for everyone. Upper Barn is a beautiful property in an excellent location just off Chipping Norton high street. The Barn is excellently presented and was a cosy stay for a weekend with friends. There are a couple of improvements areas - the toilet seat in the main bathroom was broken and the shower seal was coming loose which meant water was seeping on to the floor. The hairdryer provided was also faulty. The kitchen was faultless though - fully equipped and some lovely additions of local butter, crumpets and milk was nice. Beds and sofas were also very comfy.
A lovely converted barn with plenty of room for 4 adults. There are 2 good size double bedrooms, 1 with a double bed & the other with twin beds. There are also 2 bathrooms, 1 of which is a wet room. I am disabled so the wet room was a must for me! My only issue is that the wet room could do with a grab rail by the toilet & another by the shower. The shower would also be improved by providing a shower stool or chair.

The location of the cottage was picturesque and the horses are beautiful. Our first family holiday as a 3 with our 1yr old. First arrival to the cottage inside is very undated, had an old stuffy smell to the place and had cobwebs in the wardrobe's, the tv is very slow, there was also mould on the inside of the curtains in the bedroom and its smaller than advertised on the website. The Old Brewery is sited in a complex of buildings from which a craft Brewery is operated, but there is no significant noise from those operations. The situation is delightful being well away from the road and near to a stream, but no guidance was given of finding access which involved going round to the back entrance, the front door being barred to guests. The accommodation is spacious with 4 bedrooms, two sitting rooms and a newly fitted kitchen. But apart from the kitchen the place is very tired and some of the beds long overdue for replacement. A cute little cottage which is a great base, close to cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs. Plenty of lovely walks to enjoy on your doorstep. Only downside is the parking, although Sharon gave really clear directions to where we could park the car there were no spaces as there is currently lots of building work going on nearby and the workmen’s vans were taking up most of the lane. Thankfully after 5pm we managed to park once the workmen had finished to go home and they were not there over the weekend. It just made it difficult to drop our bags etc off.
This was a great find for three nights in the Cotswolds. The accommodation was perfect for a family of three - spacious, comfortable and full of character. The welcome pack was a lovely touch (quality products too), the design and decor very tasteful and cosy and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The garden and views were a real bonus and Ebrington is a great base. Fantastic pub nearby too. The only downside was access and parking. It’s a tight space. Our stay at Brook Cottage was a winter warmer, the cottage itself is delightfully decorated and very wholesome. We loved utilising the log fire, the smart TV and comfy sofa. The arrival gifts of eggs, milk, bread and orange juice was a lovely touch from the owners. The management team were always on call to answer any queries or questions about the facilities, which was very handy! We had some issues with the bath dripping through the ceiling, and a plumber was organised to visit the following day to sort it out. We thoroughly enjoyed our break away in the Cotswolds in Star Cottage. The cottage was very cosy and beautiful, clean and tidy and a great location for visiting the nearby villages and sights. We had all the information we needed for an enjoyable break. The red lion pub nearby was beautiful with great food and friendly staff and we would highly recommend this cottage to others in the future, and hopefully return there ourselves!
We had a great stay and the Cotswolds is an area where there are plenty of places to visit and things to do. The barn was comfortable however there were a few housekeeping and maintenance issues. The owner was on hand to deal with our issues.
On arrival the cottage was very cold, no heating was on and it was a very cold night. Knowing guests are arriving it would be prudent to leave the heating on low especially in an old property such as this. The cottage was in a beautiful spot but felt very unhomely, empty spaces and rooms and there was a lot of wasted space which made it feel slightly eerie. The kitchen was poorly equipped and so whilst there was only three of us it was managable but for a family of 6 they would be struggling. I would recommend staying in the village of Guiting Power . It has good pubs , shops and lovely walks from the door of the house . The house was very comfortable and worked well for 6 friends having their own room each . The kitchen / diner / sitting area was perfect for our needs. We had plenty of hot water and the house was cosy . There was lovely welcome pack too .
I enjoyed 4 nights here with my partner and dog. Very dog friendly in a great location, 10 minute walk into the main town of Bourton on the water. You can tell the house has recently been updated and decorated to give a modern feel however, the main issue was the bathroom. The cleanliness and standard of this was very disappointing. Dirt and dust around the floor, mouldy and worn away skirting boards. The shower looked as though it hasn’t had a good clean in a while, grime on all of the tiles. Very disappointing considering the cleanliness of the rest of the house.

A friend and I recently stayed 2 nights at Cedar Cottage. On the face of it this should have been a pleasant stay and whilst we enjoyed our short stay in terms of meeting up after not having seen each other for ages, we were both pleased not to be staying any longer. Parking ok for a small car but we had to leave ours on the main road.
The cottage was a good size for us as a family with a medium size dog. Definitely dog friendly, enclosed garden with grass. Although Staycotswold had told us there was water damage in one place, it was more than we were told. We were asked if we wanted the twin beds made into a double, which we said yes, but it wasn't done. We felt it could have been cleaned better, but ok for a family with a dog. Nicely positioned and good provision in the village with shops & pubs.

A lovely place in a lovely area. Good shop in village and geographically ideal to get to most places. The heating needed a particular adjustment and the Manager couldn’t have been more helpful or more prompt. Lots of places to store food and clothing and just up the road from Daylsford! The upstairs bathroom cabinet had not been cleaned inside and there was a dirty towel on the radiator but the rest of the property was clean. Had a great time at the organic wagon. The view is great and it is in close vicinity to numerous spots to visit. The bed was in incredibly comfortable and completed the stay.
Our multigenerational group of 9 had a lovely stay at the house in July. It is very well equipped for a holiday stay with a fantastic kitchen, toys for the kids, bbq etc and has very comfortable beds. The garden is well maintained with plenty of space. A nice welcome basket from the host who was also in touch to check if we had any issues (which we didn’t). Very well located for visiting different areas of the Cotswolds. We would stay again.
The property met all our expectations and was ideal for our large family gathering. The bedrooms gave privacy and the dining area worked really well for gathering, playing games and, of course, eating. The kitchen is very well equipped. Other highlights were the beautiful outlook, the spacious grounds, the charms of Blockley village, and the scope for nearby country walks.

The Byre is an old property reinvented to the highest standards within an idyllic farming hamlet. It’s the old Cotswolds with a new twist and within 10 mins drive of the town of Cirencester where dining and shopping rub shoulders with Roman history.

Nursery House is lovely and well located. We were a family of five staying and it was very clean, comfortable and cosy for a long very wet weekend! The only small negatives were there were no oven gloves and only one tea towel so we bought some which we took home with us. We had to buy our own firewood which was extortionate from a petrol station. I would have happily paid the owner a reasonable price as I always do on Airbnb for firewood. We very much enjoyed our stay at Greenview. It has plenty of sofa space to sit around the fire and the kitchen is equally convivial. All the bedrooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. The Fox pub, just a 5 minute walk away, is ideal if you want to eat out for lunch or dinner. It’s a short drive to all of the popular tourist spots and there are some lovely walks if you prefer not to venture too far. Lovely little cottage in an idyllic Cotswold village,the perfect setting for a peaceful country getaway
We stayed for 4 nights to nip around the Cotswolds. Guddlebrook 2 was in the perfect location for this, and as an owner of an EV, very close to Chipping Norton which has fantastic charging facilities for our EV. The accommodation is away from roads and so is silent, except for the friendly horses in the field behind us. We would definitely recommend Guddlebrook 2 as a stay over for others who need a comfortable base.
Great home and layout - this review can be split into 2 - the agency accepting the booking was OK - but they dont take calls on the evenings or weekends, which is disapointing as that's when I like to book my holidays. As soon as the booking was made, they couldn't offer any service, and the team it was handed over didn't pick the ball up until 2 weeks before arrival, so if I wanted to know the type of coffee machine 3 weeks before arrival, I was out of luck! We enjoyed our short stay and would come again to this very peaceful village. The cottage had everything we needed.
Main problem was that you could only use one bathroom at a time as the water in the top floor shower would completely stop if somebody was using the bath or shower below. Very inconvenient when everyone is getting ready to go out. Windows extremely dirty at the back. Two big stains on the sofa and some of the bedroom doors won’t close. Apart from that the house was well equipped, milk in the fridge on arrival, biscuits, plenty of coffee capsules for the machine. Prompt reply when informed about the stains on our arrival. Great local bus service.
A lovely comfortable cottage in the heart of a gem of a Cotswold village. Two pubs and two cafes within walking distance. A top tip for the perfect stay is to bring your essentials with you as there is no get you in pack. Highly recommended.
Miller's Cottage was the perfect base for our Cotswolds trip. It's perfectly situated in the centre of Winchcombe, so we could explore the town and surrounding areas easily. The cottage itself was very well equipped with all necessary amenities + cosy interiors. Having a designated parking spot was another lovely perk.
Had a lovely weekend break in the Cotswolds. Property is lovely and easy access to all the tourist spots. We found a cut through to high street right next to property which helped as my Mum was in a wheelchair and Stow is quite hilly. The house has everything you need though would have liked a guest book with instructions, local details etc. The electric bedroom blinds stopped working first day so one room ended up down all the time and in the other stuck half way luckily it’s darker at night now. We tried to contact the maintenance person a few times but no response.
The apartment was quite nice but a bit soulless.. not very clean either.. lots of cobwebs. It’s situated right on the A40 very noisy, not well signposted either. The shower temperature in the en suit was broken, and the place was boiling when we arrived, struggled to turn the heat down so had to open all the windows, except in the 2nd bedroom where there was no window only French doors which obviously you can’t have open all night ♀️ All in all, not worth the high charge £560 plus £80 for 2 dogs, this was from 5pm Friday to 10am Sunday, so not even 48hrs
We had a super time at Burghfield Cottage which is ideally situated for Bourton on the Water. The cottage is spacious inside with a lovely garden outside to enjoy. Both StayCotswold and Zoe, the property owner, were most helpful and we would happily recommend their services and the cottage.
Really lovely space in the Cotswolds to relax and be in nature. Hot tub in the woods and very warm cabins to come back to make it homely.
This is a beautiful cottage and very cosy and comfortable for 6 people. The kitchen/diner is perfect for cooking and socialising over dinner. The living room is very cosy and nice to have a log burner for those wintery evenings. It is also great that they had plenty of seating in the living room for more than 6 people to comfortably sit. The village is very quiet but has a lovely pub and the Pig is on the doorstep if you wanted to visit for lunch or dinner. I would highly recommend and hopefully will be able to return soon!
We had a fab time at Elm Barn. It was well kitted out and perfect for our family week away. The grounds were lovely. Only downside is that it said it was walking distance to the local pub but this would have been on busy main roads so not ideal with small children.
A spacious but yet cosy Barn, which is generally well maintained and clean, although requiring a bit of TLC in certain areas now, such as blown double glazing on the large windows in the main lounge and a bit of redecoration required in certain parts. We had a great few days in this very nice part of the country. Very traditional feel to this wonderful little cottage with a church and pub just up the road with so much to do in the surrounding areas. Blenheim Palace is a must when visiting.

The Chapel was in an excellent position in a lovely quiet village. The house and garden were all you could wish for. New toilet seats probably desirable. We would choose the property again.
The Nook is a 10 minute drive from Burford and is well located to explore the rest of the Cotswolds. The apartment is clean, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. There is a small cafe / bistro located at the entrance to the residential estate where The Nook's located called the "Cotswold Outpost" which serves breakfast and lunches till 4pm everyday except Tuesday's - The full Cotswold breakfast was very good!

Struggled a little with stairs as very steep. Always good to show a picture. We travelled with our adult special needs daughter and had to use the stair gate at night. The house was great. Really good communications with the company that managed it. Its a really nice house, and felt cared for and homely. We appreciated welcome pack of milk, juice, bread etc but also all the other little things possibly left by previous guests that some companies would just clear out but were nice to find, eg tea, spices, coffee pods, dishwasher tablets, tissues, sugar We also have some good evenings in Chipping Camden, Lovely pubs, - and really recommend Luigis (italian restaurant) Thank you :)
We all had a great time and it was very comfortable. There was 8 adults two small dogs and a toddler. Plenty of room for us all . A well equipped kitchen and requested a high chair. The local area was great for walking and with dogs and three very nice pubs.
We stayed at Honey Cottage as a couple with a toddler and our dog. We found it a to be a lovely cosy retreat and base for exploring the Cotswolds. Nice touches with some essentials being provided and a bottle of wine. A travel cot, high chair and extra towels were provided for our little one and clearly lots of thought has gone into making sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We was meant to stay Friday to Monday and we wasn’t there even 24hrs. First I understood there’s a check in time but 5pm is late. When I emailed to see if we could get in early there was no reply till 4:13. We opened the door to the cottage and the cold hit us straight away (it was warmer inside). Perfect location for a fab girls weekend with there being 3 of us and a 8 month old dog there was plenty of room and had everything you could need for a short stay, with it being dog friendly but practical it was a relief with a little enclosed garden too, great little welcome pack with milk & eggs, overall a fab stay
The location was amazing , the heating worked really well . Unfortunately the cooking equipment was very sparse , very few serving dishes so we went out and bought some , cooking equipment was tired and not really appealing . There weren’t 6 matching glasses of any kind . We were celebrating a family birthday and as a multigenerational group we wanted to cook and eat in the property but it proved difficult as the Aga oven had no temperatures on the cooker knobs . On the whole a good experience, however one of our party was uncomfortable in the downstairs bedroom due to excessive noise from the boiler, which we were unable to switch off overnight!

We stayed a week here, the house had everything you would need for the stay, the kitchen had all the utensils needed, although the Aga took some getting use to. Upstairs bedrooms were a good size, the biggest "But" I have is the smaller of the double room Upstairs desperately needs a new mattress my back was in pieces by the end of the week ( and no the other guests would not swap) or a new mattress topper.
If you book this cottage beware of the small print. A £250 deposit was put on my credit card on hold then on the day of departure the whole £250 was taken from my card due to 2 minor mud prints out of the duvet cover (which they apparently they couldn’t get out even with bleach and a 90 degree wash!) I was charged £46.89 for replacements. I was not sent the receipt. The remainder of the deposit didn’t go back on my card for over 7 days. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay in Wendle Cottage. We managed to park for free directly outside the cottage each day. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with quality gadgets, glasses, crockery and cutlery and is great for in-house dining. Despite the chilly weather, the cottage was warm and we did not need to use the log burner in the sitting room. The spiral staircase to the first and second floors is very steep and great care is needed when going up and down but the hand rail/rope and poles give a measure of confidence. The cottage has a lot of character, but not sure it fits with the description of “luxury cottage” as it says on the website. It needs a bit of TLC and a good in-depth cleaning. The house was full of cobwebs and spiders, and they were big and thick cobwebs, that had been there for weeks. The cushions available for the garden chairs were in the kitchen and in a very poor state, some of them ripped. The kitchen floor wasn’t clean at all and it was sticky. The cottage is in a lovely spot in the middle of Winchcombe and very comfortable. It is a little tired in some furnishings downstairs and it would have been nice to have the little extras like candles(which were mentioned in there in house blurb). The garden definitely needs some fairly major attention but as it was winter not a big issue. Overall a nice stay
The cottage was fine for 2 people but would have been a squeeze with 4. It had all the amenetues we neededThe cottage was clean on the surface but could do with a deep clean. The windows and window frames were very dirty. The "garden" was full of weeds. The gas hob igniters and the cooker hood were not working and he hive thermostat was not connecting so no central heating. The management came to sort this but neither was fixed. Gassons View is in a great location in the quaint village of Filkins which has a beautiful church and pub and a superb woollen mill. The property itself was good value for money. It had a large, bright, well-equipped and modern kitchen/dining area which we all liked and suited our needs very well. The lounge was spacious and comfortable, but more on this in a minute. Check in at 5pm meant arriving in the dark, location sent via What 3 Words, which we do not use and therefore couldn’t find The Nest. Following a telephone call and guidance we managed to find it, signage needs improving as impossible to see In the dark Great little place to stay to explore the locality. We had water come up through floor first night of stay cannot fault the house manager who responded immediately and kept in touch throughout, however there was a smell from this through stay also the fridge and freezer stopped working which we found when packing on the last day which resulted in us having to throw frozen amd chilled food

Arrival was a bit fraught. Instructions tell you that the arrival point is the garage but there's nothing to identify the garage doors as belonging to the cottage and we're not really familiar with using "Just Three Words". Getting into the garage which is right on a very busy road involves a very tricky manoeuvre. We found the keys to the house door but couldn't open it. Eventually we rang a contact number who said that the door was probably already open. We had been locking an unlocked door. Booking process and pre-stay information was spot on, can't fault it. Great location for Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford, Cirencester etc. We stayed at the cottage as we had a family wedding in Burford which is only a short drive away. Bourton-on-the-Water is a beautiful village, lots to do and see. The cottage has rustic charm with lots of great features i.e. an abundance of plate and glassware and nice touch having a canteen of cutlery for use.
