Built in 1826 Aylsham Windmill was a working flour mill for almost 100 years. It was unused for more than 80 years, and has now been converted into luxurious self catering accommodation for 6 people. The accommodation is on 4 floors linked by normal domestic stairs. Aylsham is ideally placed in the centre of North Norfolk. Explore the coast, the Broads and the city of Norwich.
We had a wonderful stay here with friends over the new year and would highly recommend the beautiful windmill for a break. The village is lovely and only a 10 minute walk away. The black boy pub/hotel was the perfect place for our New Year’s Eve meal
